November 1, 2009--A fatal accident occurred last Sunday night near Porterville, California. A 23 year old woman was killed when she was ejected from a Ford F-150 pickup traveling southbound on Road 252, south of Avenue 136. The driver made a left turn onto the shoulder of the road and struck the embankment and rolled over. The chp continues to investigate this accident. The victim suffered severe head trauma and was taken to Sierra View District Hospital in Porterville. The driver suffered minor injuries and was also treated. Apparently the passenger was not wearing a seatbelt.
