November 13 accident at Road 208 and Avenue 192 near Strathmore kills Julian Palomino Jr.
On November 13 Julian Palomino Jr. was killed when his vehicle crashed into an olive tree at road 208 and Avenue 192 near Strathmore. Palomino, of Porterville, was pinned inside the vehicle and died at the scene of the accident. Five other people were injured in the accident. Nora Rodriguez was treated at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno and was listed in critical condition. Diana Bermudez, Monica Haywood, Gladys Botello, and Marybell Flores were all treated at Sierra View District Hospital in Porterville. Reportedly, Palomino was driving the Honda northbound going about 70 mph. Palomino did not stop at a stop sign and instead continued straight through the T-shaped intersection and hit the olive tree.
