November 25 Visalia accident at Caldwell Avenue and Burke Street kills one

On November 25 a man was killed when he drove his car into a tree at the intersection of Caldwell Avenue and Burke Street in Visalia. He was driving westbound on Caldwell when he hit a bicyclist, Darren Patton. Patton was riding in the bicycle lane. He then veered his Olds Mobile to the left and hit a tree on the south side of the road. The driver died at the scene of the accident. Patton was treated for minor injuries.
