November 3, 2009--A 55 year old Porterville man named David Mark Slusser was killed Tuesday when his vehicle crossed the center line into the path of a big rig driven by Valcyro Yamashita of Parowan, Utah who was uninjured. Mr Slusser was driving north on Highway 65 in Kern County east of Shafter. He crossed into the southbound lanes near the intersection of Merced Avenue and struck by a Kenworth semitruck and trailer. Slusser was pronounced dead at the scene.
Issues still remaining to be investigated include determining the speed of the big rig, whether road conditions may have contributed to this accident, and whether the facts of this accident as reported by the sole survivor are accurate. If you would like these issues investigated further then please call Attorney John Rozier at 559-713-0159. www.nelsonrozier.com
