November 9 fatal big rig accident on the Bay Bridge
On November 9 a big rig plummeted off the SAn Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge killing the driver. The accident occurred on a new section of the bridge that has had 42 accidents since it opened. The driver apparentle lost control of the big rig on a west-bound S-curve. The big rig went over the side of the bridge landing on Yerba Buena Island. This was the first fatality on the S-curve since it opened on September 8. Speed limits drop on that section of the bridge. The exact speed of teh big rig was not given, but it was reported that the driver was traveling at a high speed. http://www.nelsonrozier.com/
