April 30 Highway 165 DUI accident in Merced County

On April 30 Edgar Haro and Jose Atienzo-Quezada suffered minor and major injuries respectively in a suspected DUI accident on Highway 165 in Merced County. Reportedly Haro was driving southbound on Highway 165 when he turned left onto August Avenue and hit a car traveling northbound on Highway 165. The other vehicle was driven by Francisco Chavez. Jose Atienzo-Quezada was a passenger in Haro's vehicle and was taken to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto to be treated for his injuries. Chavez was not injured in the accident.
