April 28 Modesto bicycle accident on Modesto puts 12-year-old girl in critical condition

 On April 28 Na'Keisha White was put in a coma after she was hit by a pickup truck while riding her bike on Carver Road in Modesto. Reportedly White was riding north on Carver Road across Briggsmore Avenue when she was hit by a pickup truck and thrown from her bike. She was given CPR by a neighbor before emergency crews arrived. White is now in critical condition at Children's Hospital and Research Center in Oakland where she has been placed in a medically induce coma to help her brain swelling subside. No further information regarding the identity of the driver or the cause of the accident are available at this time.

October 22 Modesto accident on Briggsmore Avenue

On October 22 a car went airborn and crashed while driving on Briggsmore Avenue near McHenry Avenue in Modesto. Reportedly the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when her vehicle went airborn and flipped and hit two parked cars. The driver and her passenger were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

October 20 Highway 99 big rig accident kills one

On October 20 there was an accident on Highway 99 in Modesto involving a big rig and 4 other vehicles that killed one person. Reportedly the big rig failed to stop for slowing traffic and then triggered a five-vehicle, chain-reaction accident. The driver of a Nissan Frontier was declared dead at the scene of the accident. A passenger in the Nissan is reported to have suffered major injuries. Four other people are reported to have suffered minor injuries. The five cars had slowed down near the Carpenter Road-Briggsmore Avenue overpass for an unknown reason when the big rig failed to stop in time hitting the Nissan and pushing it into the other vehicles.

June 22 Modesto motorcycle accident

On June 22 a car and a motorcycle collided in Modesto. Reportedly the accident occurred on East Briggsmore Avenue near McHenry Village. It was reported that the motorcyclist was injured as a result of the accident.

December 28 modesto accident on Briggsmore Avenue

On December 28 a man was injured when his vehicle ran off the road and into an irrigation ditch on Griggsmore Avenue in Modesto. Reportedly, an older man was taken to the hospial for treatment after rescue crews pulled him from the vehicle. November 15 accident at Briggsmore Avenue and Coffee Road in Modesto

Early in the morning of November 15 a Suburban driven by Jessie Murphy broadsided a pickup truck at the intersection of Briggsmore Avenue and Coffee Road in Modesto severely injuring a man and a woman in the truck. Murphy was driving the Suburban at a high rate of speed when she reached the intersection. It is possible that the Suburban was involved in an earlier accident as well at the intersection of Parker Road and Held Avenue.
