Fresno County Car Crash Ends in Fatality, at Manning Avenue and Hills Valley Road

On Wednesday, September 2, 2015, a vehicle collision ended in fatality, near Orange Cove.  The Fresno County automobile accident happened at approximately 5:30 PM.

A Squaw Valley man, 77, was driving a 1985 Nissan, headed east on Manning Avenue.  The driver was reported to have not stopped at the intersection of Manning and S. Hills Valley Road.

The Nissan crashed into a 2000 Toyota, driven by a 27 year old man from Orange Cove, who was traveling southbound on Hills Valley.  Authorities reported that both vehicles overturned, and at least one of them caught fire.

The 77 year old man was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.  He was pronounced dead while in the hospital.

The Toyota's driver sustained minor injuries.  He was taken by ambulance to Reedley Hospital.

There was a passenger in each of the vehicles, and both were also hospitalized.

Fatal Vehicle Accident near Orange Cove, on Manning Avenue

September 2, 2015- A fatal car collision occurred in Fresno County, on Wednesday.  The vehicle accident happened just south of Orange Cove, at around 5:30 PM.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the automobile crash involved two vehicles, in the area of Manning Avenue and S. Hills Valley Road.

Both vehicles overturned.  At least one of the cars caught fire and was soon engulfed in flames.

Authorities reported that there was a fatality.

No other information is known at this time.

Fresno County Semi Truck Crash Ends in Fatality for Dinuba Man, on Highway 43, near Selma

August 10, 2015- A semi truck crash ended in fatality for one person, on Monday, south of Selma.  The Fresno County big rig accident happened on Highway 43, at around 10 AM.

A 29 year old Dinuba man, was driving a Honda automobile, westbound on Mountain View Avenue.  At the same time a Manteca man was driving a tractor-trailer north on Highway 43.

One of the vehicles was reported to have driven through a red light and crashed into the other car, in the intersection of Mountain View and Hwy 43.  After colliding, the semi truck drove through a wall of nearby home, and came to a stop near the house's pool.

The Dinuba man died at the scene of the accident.

The big rig driver was uninjured.

Car Accident near Pine Flat Dam Kills Fresno Man, on Trimmer Springs Road

August 9, 2015- A car collision ended in fatality in Fresno County, near the Pine Flat Dam.  The vehicle accident happened on Sunday, at about 12:30 AM.

George Vang, of Fresno, was driving a 2000 Toyota west on Trimmer Springs Road, near Lakeview Avenue.  As he was driving a deer entered the roadway.

Vang swerved out of the way to avoid the deer, and lost control.  He drove down a dirt embankment and crashed below.

A 57 year old Fresno man, who was a passenger in the Toyota, died at the scene of the collision.

Vang was not hurt.  Another passenger; Moua Xiong, 31, sustained minor injuries.

Dinuba Man Killed in Big Rig Accident in Fresno County, on Highway 43 and Mountain View Avenue

San Joaquin Valley Automobile Accident Lawyer John Rozier has the subsequent update; On Monday, August 10, 2015, a tractor-trailer collision led to the death of a Dinuba man, in Fresno County.  The big rig crash occurred south of Selma, on Highway 43, at approximately 9:50-10 AM.

A Honda, driven by a 29 year old man, was traveling west on Mountain View Avenue.  A semi truck, driven by a Manteca man, was headed northbound on Highway 43.  At the intersection the tractor-trailer and the car collided.  Officers reported that one of the vehicles ran a red light.

The impact of the collision caused the big rig to crash through a cement wall of a neighboring home.  The big rig came to rest in the backyard, near a pool.

The Honda driver suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Manteca man was not hurt.

Fatal Fresno County Automobile Crash on Millerton Road

On Monday, August 10, 2015, a fatal car accident happened in Fresno County, just after midnight.  The vehicle collision, which killed two people, took place east of Clovis, on Millerton Road.

Cecilia Hernandez, 19, was driving westbound on Millerton Road, in an Acura automobile, with passengers Lucero Aguirre, 14, and Selena Hicks, 18.  Reportedly the car was traveling at 70 mph and Hernandez attempted to drive around a corner at that speed.

The Acura drove onto the right dirt shoulder of the roadway and swerved into the eastbound lane.  The vehicle smashed into a Honda, driven by Deborah Marie Cura, 57, of Fresno.

Hernandez and Aguirre were pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.  Hicks suffered serious injuries.

Cura sustained moderate injuries, while her passenger; Felix Cura had minor injuries.  All the injured were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Semi Truck Collision Ends in Fatality on Highway 43, near Selma

On Monday, August 10, 2015, a semi truck accident ended in fatality in Fresno County.  The big rig collision occurred on Highway 43, south of Selma, at around 10 AM.

The incident occurred at Highway 43 and Mountain View Avenue, when a tractor-trailer hit a Honda car.  The semi then ran into a cinder block wall of a nearby home.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the accident happened when someone failed to stop at a traffic light.

The driver of the automobile died at the scene of the crash.

The truck driver was unharmed.

No other details are known at this time.

Two Killed in Fresno County Car Collision on Millerton Road, East of Clovis

August 10, 2015- A fatal car collision took place east of Clovis, on early Monday morning.  The vehicle accident happened at about 12 AM, in Fresno County.

The California Highway Patrol reported that an Acura automobile that was driven by a 19 year old female from Fresno, was headed west on Millerton Road, east of Friant Road.  Officers claim the vehicle was traveling at about 70 miles per hour.

Deborah Marie Cura, 57, was driving east on Millerton Rd., in a Honda at the time the Acura was headed west.  The woman tried to negotiate a curve and drove onto the right dirt shoulder and lost control.  The car went into the opposite lane of traffic and smashed into the Honda.

The driver and a 14 year old female passenger both died at the scene of the incident.

Selena Hicks, 18 years old, was another passenger in the Acura.  She suffered serious injuries and was taken to Community Regional Medical Center.

Deborah Cura sustained moderate injuries.  Felix Cura, a passenger in the Honda was also hurt.

The collision continues to be under investigation.

Fresno County SUV Collision at Highway 41 and Central Avenue

July, 19, 2015- A pickup truck collision took place on Sunday, in Fresno County.  The SUV accident happened after one of the vehicles ran a red light, on Highway 41.

A man was driving a pickup truck, when he reportedly drove through the red traffic light at the Central Avenue intersection.  The truck smashed into an SUV, and the two vehicles ended up in the median.

The truck's driver sustained severe injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.  Two other victims received minor injuries and were also taken to the hospital.

Truck and SUV Crash After Vehicle Ran Red Light on Highway 41, in Fresno County

A vehicle accident leaves three injured after pickup truck runs a red light, on Sunday, July 19, 2015.  The SUV collision occurred on Highway 41, in Fresno County.

The CHP have reported that a man driving a pickup truck ran a red traffic light on Highway 41, at Central Avenue.  The truck crashed into a Sport Utility Vehicle that had the right-of-way.

After the impact of the collision, both vehicles ended up in the center divider.

The driver of the pickup suffered major injuries and was taken to the hospital.  Two other people sustained minor injuries.  They were also taken to the hospital for treatment.

The accident is under investigation.

Fresno County Forest Service Fire Truck Accident, on Highway 168, near Clovis

An update to the United States Forest Service fire truck collision that took place on Sunday, July 12, 2015.  The SUV accident occurred east of Clovis, on Highway 168, at about 7:30 AM.  All the firefighters hurt in the crash have been released from the hospital.

53 year old Maria E. Constable, of Fresno was driving a Kia Sorrento on Highway 168, when she attempted to pass the fire engine in the right lane.  As the SUV merged, it sideswiped the truck, with the driver's side door hitting the front wheel of the other vehicle.

The U.S. Forest Service fire truck, driven by Derek Solden, of Mariposa, swerved off the freeway, and overturned multiple times, before coming to rest in a nearby field.

The Sport Utility Vehicle also rolled over and came to rest on the rooftop.

Fiver firefighters were in the truck.  All of them were injured.  Solden suffered major injuries, and passenger Lee Sands, of Groveland, moderate injuries.  They were taken by helicopter to Community Regional Medical Center, for treatment.

The other three firefighters; Ben Jongerward, Ryan Bakers, and Brittany Dowden, sustained minor injuries.  They wre taken by ambulance to Saint Agnes Medical Center, in Fresno.

Three of the firefighters were released from the hospital after the accident on Sunday. One was released on Monday and the remaining was released on Wednesday July 15th.

Constable was hurt, but did not go to the hospital.

Vehicle Accident, Involving 3 Semi Trucks, Occurred on Interstate 5, in Fresno County

On Monday, July 13, 2015, three semi trucks were involved in a collision on Interstate 5.  The Fresno County big rig crash happened at about 1:00 AM.

The tractor trailers were reported to have been traveling north on I-5.  The accident took place near Panoche Road on the freeway.

At least one person was hurt.  He or she sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Kaiser Hospital, in Fresno.

U.S. Forest Service Fire Truck Collision on Highway 168, near Clovis, Six Hurt

July 12, 2015- A U.S. Forest Service fire truck accident took place in Fresno County, on Sunday.  The SUV collision led to six people hurt, near Clovis, at about 7:30 AM.

Maria E. Constable, 53, of Fresno, was reported to have been driving her Kia Sorrento Sport Utility Vehicle on Highway 168.  She said she was trying to merge and passed the Forest Service fire truck on the right side of the vehicle.

The SUV sideswiped the other vehicle, and the driver's side door hit the front right wheel of the fire truck.  The Forest Service truck, which was driven by Derek Solden, of Mariposa, lost control and ran off the highway.  It rolled four times and came to rest in a nearby field.

The Kia also lost control after hitting the fire engine, and overturned twice before it ended up on its roof.

All five firefighters in the vehicle were hurt.  Solden suffered serious injuries.  Lee Sands of Groveland, sustained moderate injuries.  Both were airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.

Auberry Rollover Vehicle Collision Injures Four People, on Highway 168

Visalia, and Fresno Accident Attorney John Rozier has the subsequent collision report; On Sunday, June 28, 2015, four people were hurt in a rollover automobile crash.  The car accident took place near Prather, in Auberry, on Highway 168, at around 1 PM.

A gray Volkswagen vehicle, that had four teenagers, ages 17 and 18, inside, were headed west on Highway 168, in the Fresno County area.  The VW was reported to have been traveling at a high rate of speed, when the driver attempted to make it around a curve.

The auto veered into the eastbound lane, and the driver lost control after over-correcting.  The Volkswagen clipped a Honda Civic and went off the freeway.  The vehicle drove through fencing, and rolled over multiple times into a ravine, before it came to rest on its wheels.

The victims were trapped inside the car, until they could be rescued by emergency personnel.

Three of the four teenagers sustained major injuries.  The fourth person sustained moderate injuries.  One of the victims was medi-flighted to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.  The other three were taken on the ground to Saint Agnes Medical Center, and CRMC.

The two occupants of the Civic were not harmed.

Four Teens Injured in Fresno County Car Accident, on Highway 168

June 28, 2015- A rollover car accident leaves four teenagers injured, in Fresno County.  The vehicle collision happened on Highway 168, in Auberry, at about 1:00 PM.

Four occupants, ages 17 and 18, were in a grey VW automobile, traveling westbound on Highway 168, near Prather.  It is reported that the Volkswagen was driving at a high rate of speed around a curve, and lost control.

The car swerved into the eastbound lane after the driver over-corrected.  The VW hit a Honda Civic, and then went off the highway, through a fence, and overturned multiple times into a ravine.  They were pinned inside the vehicle, after the crash.

The four victims in the Volkswagen all suffered injuries, with three of the four people in serious condition.  One person was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.  The other three were taken by ambulance to CRMC, and Saint Agnes Medical Center.

The two people that were in the Honda were not hurt.

Truck Collision Leads to Overturned Vehicle, North of Fresno, on Friant Road

On Wednesday, May 6, 2015, a rollover vehicle collision took place north of Fresno, on Friant Road.  The truck crash occurred at about 3:40 in the afternoon.

A driver in his 30's was headed southbound in a black Toyota Tacoma, on Friant Road, when the truck suddenly veered into the opposite lane of traffic.  The pickup rolled over and ended up on its roof, near Willow Avenue and Birkhead Avenue.

The man suffered injuries in the accident, and was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

The cause of the incident is being investigated by the authorities.

Two Killed in Automobile Accident on Chestnut and South Avenues, near Fowler

Fresno, Visalia, Bakersfield Collision Attorney John L. Rozier has the following accident report; On Wednesday, May 13, 2015, a car accident took place west of Fowler.  The automobile collision ended in two fatalities, at the intersection of South and Chestnut avenues, at approximately 6 AM.

A white, 2001 Chevrolet Lumina was driving eastbound on South Avenue.  At the intersection of South Ave. and Chestnut Avenue, the Chevy was reported to have run a stop sign.  The car entered the intersection directly into the path of a white, 2006 Ford F-350 pickup truck that was headed north on Chestnut.

The impact of the collision led to the deaths of the Lumina's occupants; a 55 year old man from Fresno, and a female, also from Fresno, in her 40s.

The truck driver, a 20 year old man from Exeter, sustained minor injuries.

Rollover Pickup Truck Accident on Friant Road, in Fresno County

Fresno, Visalia, Bakersfield Collision Lawyer John L. Rozier has the following accident report; On Wednesday, May 6, 2015, a rollover truck crash occurred north of Fresno.  The pickup truck collision happened on Friant Road, at approximately 3:40 PM.

A black Toyota Tacoma, driven by a man in his 30's, was traveling south on Friant Road.  The pickup truck, for an unexplained reason, swerved into the northbound lanes of traffic, near Willow and Birkhead avenues.  The Toyota then overturned multiple times and came to rest on its roof in the middle of the roadway.

Riverdale Head-on Truck Accident Kills One, on Mt. Whitney and Howard Avenues

April 27, 2015- A head-on car collision ended in fatality for one person, in Riverdale.  The pickup truck crash took place southwest of Fresno, on Monday, at about 7:00 AM.

The California Highway Patrol said that the accident took place at the intersection of Mt. Whitney and Howard avenues.  A Chevy pickup truck collided with another automobile.  After the two vehicles crashed into one another, they both caught fire.

One victim  was reported to have died in the collision.  No other injuries have been released at this time.

Rollover SUV Collision in Fresno County Kills One, Near Kingsburg

On Tuesday, April 28, 2015, an automobile collision resulted in the death of a Selma woman, in Fresno County.  The SUV accident happened near Kingsburg, at approximately 5:45 PM.

A 2004 Cadillac Escalade, driver by 62 year old Maria Jesus Gonzalez-Valdez/Vasquez, was traveling southbound on Sixth Avenue, just north of Bangor Avenue.  Passengers; Petra Rodriguez, and Guadalupe Cano, and an 89 year old woman from Selma, were also in the SUV.

A 2014 Hyundai Sonata, driven by Ruben Orona, was in Meli's Grocery parking lot, when the car entered the southbound lane on Sixth Ave.  The Hyundai pulled out right in front of the Sport Utility Vehicle.

The front of the Sonata smashed into the right side of the Cadillac, which caused the Escalade to rollover several times.  The passenger in the front seat of the SUV was thrown from the vehicle.  She sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Vasquez, Rodriguez, and Cano sustained minor to moderate injuries and were taken to a local hospital.

Orona was not injured.
