SUV Rollover Accident on Interstate 5 near Coalinga

September 28, 2014- A single vehicle accident on Interstate 5, near Coalinga ends in fatality.  The Fresno County SUV collision took place on Sunday, at approximately 12:05 AM.

A 26 year old man, from Portland, was driving north in a 1988 Mercury Mountaineer, on the I-5 freeway.  As the SUV was north of Hudson Avenue, it drifted off the highway to the left, and lost control.  The Sport Utility Vehicle overturned multiple times and came to rest in the right lane of the Interstate.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident.  A 33 year old woman, who was a passenger in the Mercury, sustained minor injuries.

SUV Collision on Richgrove Drive, in Tulare County

Visalia Elder Abuse Lawyer John L. Rozier has the subsequent collision update; On Tuesday, August 12, 2014, a vehicle accident leaves two injured.  The Tulare County crash happened in Richgrove, at about 3 PM.

An SUV was traveling on Richgrove Drive.  As the Sport Utility Vehicle reached a curve in the roadway, on the eastside, it lost control and rolled over.  Two people in the SUV were ejected and emergency personnel found them outside the vehicle on the ground.

The victims suffered moderate injuries and were taken to Delano Hospital for treatment.

SUV Overturns in Accident at Panama Lane in Bakersfield

April 2, 2014- An accident in Kern County, leads to one SUV flipping over, late Wednesday night.  The collision occurred in Southeast Bakersfield, at approximately 11:30 PM.

The driver of a silver Sport Utility Vehicle suffered moderate injuries, after the SUV crashed at Panama Lane and Cottonwood Road.  The car flipped over, and came to rest in a vineyard at the side of the road.

Firefighters had to pull the driver out of her vehicle.  No reports on whether there were passengers in the SUV, or what caused the accident.

The woman was taken by ambulance to the hospital for treatment on her wounds.

Update: SUV Flips Over on Interstate 5 near Bakersfield

November 24, 2011- An update to the two people were killed in a crash on I-5 near Highway 223 outside Bakersfield, early Thursday morning.

The family of seven from Oxnard were traveling northbound on Interstate 5 when their SUV overturned and ended up in the southbound lanes.

The two people that were killed were ejected from the backseat. They have been identified as Daisy Alfaro, 17, and Jesus Alfaro, 23. Jesus Alfaro was Daisy’s uncle.


The five people that survived were two adults and three children, aged; 1, 3, and 13.

SUV Flips Over on Interstate 5 near Bakersfield

November 24, 2011- All southbound lanes of I-5 were closed for a couple hours Thursday morning after a fatal crash, west of Bakersfield.

A family of seven was headed north in an SUV when the vehicle flipped over onto the grassy field in the center median, and finally coming to rest in the southbound lanes of Interstate 5, just south of Bear Mountain Boulevard.


Two people in the SUV died at the scene of the accident, one of them a teenage girl. One person with major injuries was medi-flighted to the hospital. The four other occupants were also hurt and taken by ambulance to the hospital for treatment.

The CHP are investigating the cause of the crash.

SUV Rolls Over in Crash on Highway 198

September 12, 2011- a one vehicle accident occurred at about 10:20 AM Monday, on westbound Highway 198 in Visalia.

The crash happened on Hwy 198, west of Demaree Street, when a GMC Yukon SUV rolled over after loosing control.


The driver was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center with minor injuries.

Two Vehicle Crash in Visalia Cause SUV to Flip Over

September 2, 2011- An SUV flipped over and landed back on its wheels after being hit by another vehicle Friday, in Visalia. The accident happened at about 6 PM.

A Chevrolet Trailblazer going south on Mooney Boulevard ran a stop light at Noble Avenue and was hit by a Chevrolet Cobalt that was driving east on Noble.

A witness to the crash said that the Trailblazer flipped in the air after the impact and landed amid the plants in the center median on the south side of the intersection. The Cobalt spun and came to a stop in the intersection.

The woman driving the Cobalt declined to be taken to the hospital. A four year old boy in the Trailblazer complained of stomach pains and was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, by ambulance. The woman who was driving the Trailblazer didn’t appear to have serious injuries, and she accompanied the boy in the ambulance.

March 18 Merced rollover accident

On March 18 a woman was injured when her vehicle rolled over in a two-vehicle accident at O and 18th Streets in Merced. According to reports a small green SUV was traveling south on O Street when it hit a truck which was eastbound on 18th Street. The accident caused the SUV to spin and flip onto its side. The driver of the SUV was trapped and had to be cut out of the vehicle through the roof. She was taken to Mercy Medical Center in Merced to be treated for her injuries.

August 15 Portervilled rollover accident

On August 15 there was a rollover accident on Highway 65 in Porterville in Tulare County. According to reports a Ford Explorer was southbound on Highway 65 when he veered left and overturned. Investigators have concluded that a tire may have blown out on the vehicle causing the accident. The vehicle rolled several times before landing on its wheels. June 19 Madera County Accident kills one

On June 19 Hernandez Eduardo was tragically killed in a rollover accident  in Madera County on Highway 99 near Road 20 1/2. According to reports Eduardo’s father was driving his Ford Explorer when a back wheel and tire broke free from the vehicle. May 13 wrongful death accident on Highway 99 at Avenue 17

On May 13 Paul Allen Molder was killed in a wrongful death accident on Highway 99. Reportedly molder's Ford Explorer drifted off the on ramp at Avenue 17 and rolled over. Molder was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. He came to rest in a nearby parking lot and was declared dead at the scene of the accident. www.nelsonrozier.com

March 25 I-5 accident critically injures one

On March 25 on person was put in critical condition due to an accident between an SUV and a big rig on I-5 north of Coalinga. Reportedly the SUV collided with the big rig just north of Highway 145 then rolled over the edge of the interstate. One person was pinned in his vehicle. January 24 fatal accident in south Tulare

On January 24 Ernest Hernandez Renaldi was killed when he rolled the Cadillac Escalade he was driving and was ejected from the vehicle in south Tulare. The accident occurred when he lost control of the vehicle on a curve. The SUV went off the road and turned five times, resting on its roof. Renaldi was declared dead at the scene of the accident. Four other people in the vehicle were injured. The injured include Sergio Lara, Andrew Torres, Angel Garibhy, and a 17-year-old boy. Lara's and Torres's injuries appear to have been minor. However, Garibhy was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center with head injuries and the minor had a punctured lung and a broken neck. Reportedly Renaldi was not wearing a seatbelt, had he been it could have saved his life. Speed may have been a factor in the crash. November 10 Highway 99 deadly SUV crash victim identified as Sonia Albores

The woman who died in an SUV rollover on Highway 99 in Modesto on November 10 has been identified as Sonia Albores. Albores was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer in the far left lane when she veered to the right and overturned. November 10 Highway 99 deadly SUV crash near Modesto

On November 10 a woman was killed when she lost control of her SUV while traveling on Highway 99 mear Briggsmore Avenue in Modesto. The woman apparently lost control of the vehicle, swerved, and overturned before coming to a rest on its side. The woman was wearing a seatbelt and no other vehicles were involved in the accident.
