Semi Truck Caught Fire, in Accident on Highway 180, in Sanger

Visalia Nursing Home Lawyer John Rozier has the following accident report; On Tuesday, September 30, 2014, part of Highway 180 was closed to traffic, because of a big rig collision, in Fresno County.  The vehicle accident took place in Sanger, at about 2 PM.

A big rig that was carrying asphalt was traveling west on Highway 180, near Highway 63, in Sanger.  The semi truck caught fire, and spilled the asphalt, which blocked the westbound lane of the freeway.

No other information is known at this time.  The accident in under investigation.

Fiery Big Rig Collision on Highway 99 near Paname Lane

Visalia Nursing Home Lawyer John Rozier has the following accident report; On Sunday, September 14, 2014, a big rig crash closed all lanes on Highway 99 North, in Kern County.  The semi truck accident happened in Bakersfield, at about 11:38 PM.

A tractor-trailer was driving northbound on Highway 99, when it smashed into the back of another big rig, near Panama Lane.  The impact of the collision caused one of the semi trucks to lose control, crash into the shoulder, and spill its load of beer onto the freeway.

A fire was started by the incident, and all lanes of the northbound highway were closed.

Two people involved in the vehicle collision suffered minor injuries, and one was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Power Outage Caused by Semi Truck Collision in Bakersfield on Rosedale Highway

August 27, 2014- A big rig collision caused a power outage in northwest Bakersfield, on Wednesday.  The vehicle accident occurred on Rosedale Highway, in Kern County, at about 3:30 AM.

The early morning crash happened between a tanker truck and a car.  The impact caused the semi truck to run down an embankment and smash into a utility pole and high voltage power lines, at Rosedale Highway and Coffee Road.

The tractor trailer then burst into flames after the collision.  Power was out for more that 5,000 PG&E customers that morning.

It is reported that no one was injured in the accident.

Semi Truck Caught Fire in Accident on Interstate 5, Kern County

July 22, 2014- A semi truck accident causes grass fire on the Grapevine, in Kern County.  The Interstate 5 collision happened on Tuesday, at about 1 PM.

A big rig was traveling southbound on the I-5 highway, when for an unknown reason, it caught fire in the right-hand lane.  The fire then spread to the grass at the side of the freeway, south of Grapevine Road.

This caused all lanes of the southbound highway to be shut down until the flames could be contained, and the burned tractor-trailer could be cleared from the road.

Southbound I-5 Semi Truck Accident in Kern County

July 19, 2014- A semi truck accident in Kern County leaves driver injured.  The crash happened Saturday morning, at about 8:15 am, on Interstate 5.

The big rig was driving southbound on I-5, when it overturned and caught fire, at Weiser Road.  The highway overpass, the tractor trailer was on, also received fire damage in the incident.

The truck driver sustained minor injuries in the Interstate 5 collision.

FedEx Big Rig Collision on I-5 South in Kern County

May 25, 2014- Two big rigs crashed into each other then caught fire, in Kern County, on Sunday.  The semi truck accident occurred on Interstate 5, at about 10:37 AM.

A FedEx semi truck was travelling southbound on the I-5 highway when it struck another big rig, at Rowlee Road.  The semi that was hit, then flipped on its side and started to go up in flames.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the truck was on fire in a field, and some of the weeds did catch fire too, but they were able to contain it.  The vehicle was abandoned before the Fed-Ex truck had smashed into it.

Some minor injuries were reported.

Big Rig Accident on Highway 58 in Kern County

May 14, 2014- A semi truck caught fire in a vehicle accident that took place on Highway 58.  The incident occurred on Wednesday, at about 11 PM, in Bakersfield.

The big rig, which was hauling produce, was driving eastbound on Highway 58, near Bena Road.  The driver, Bob Comaduran, noticed smoke coming from the semi trucks engine while driving on the freeway.  Comaduran slowed down, and he and his son, who was a passenger, jumped out, before the hauler completely erupted into flames.

The semi truck burned until it was beyond recognizable. 

The driver and his son sustained only minor injuries.  No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Interstate 5 Big Rig Catches Fire near Patterson

May 6, 2014- A tractor trailer truck caught fire in a vehicle accident on I-5, in Stanislaus County.  The incident happened on Tuesday, near Patterson, at approximately 5 AN.

A semi truck carrying appliances, was driving north on Interstate 5.  The big rig caught fire, and soon became fully engulfed in flames, while it was near Fink Road.  The fire spread to nearby grass, which prompted officials to close the highway until it was contained.

It was revealed that the truck had a possible fuel leak.

No injuries have been reported.

Semi Truck Catches Fire in Accident on Highway 58 Kern County

April 25, 2014- A vehicle accident leads to a big rig catching on fire, in Kern County.  The incident took place on Friday afternoon, east of Bakersfield.

The semi truck was driving on Highway 58, near Highway 223, where it caught on fire.  The trailer was separated from the big rig.
