April 9 fatal pedestrian accident in Fowler

On April 9 Sage Corpus was killed in a hit and run pedestrian accident in Fowler on South Avenue near DeWolf Avenue. Reportedly Corpus was walking along the shoulder of South Avenue with four of his friends when an eastbound pickup truck crossed the westbound lane onto the shoulder and hit Corpus and another boy. Corpus died as a result of the accident and the other victim was taken to the hospital with a cut and dislocated kneecap. 12 year old Sage Corpus of Fowler killed by truck

April 9, 2010--Last night's fatal accident near Fowler in Fresno County killed 12 year old Fowler resident Sage Corpus.  He had been walking along the shoulder of South Avenue near DeWolf in a group of five pedestrians when 2 of the boys were hit by a 1988 Isuzu pick-up which was then abandoned at the scene.
