Rollover DUI Truck Collision Ends in Fatality, in Bakersfield, on Brimhall Road

On Monday, August 18, 2015, a drunk driving accident took place in Bakersfield.  The rollover truck collision ended in the death of one passenger days later.  The vehicle crash happened on Brimhall Road, at around 3:40 AM.

J. Teagarden, 20, was driving a GMC Sierra pickup on Brimhall Road, near Highway 43.  The GMC drifted off the roadway, and the truck overturned.

Teagarden and her two passengers; Justin Pensinger, 26, and Richard Ellis, 25, were not wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.

Justin Pensinger suffered severe injuries and was taken to Kern Medical Center.  It is reported that he died in the hospital on Monday, August 31, 2015.

Teagarden and Ellis sustained minor injuries.  Teagarden was arrested for driving while under the influence.

Drunk Driving Pickup Truck Collision, in Bakersfield, on Brimhall Road

Central California Car Collision Lawyer John L. Rozier has the following report; On Tuesday, August 18, 2015, a drunk driving accident took place in Bakersfield.  The pickup truck crash occurred at around 3:40 AM, on Brimhall Road.

A GMC Sierra truck, driven by J. Teagarden, 20 years old, was traveling down Brimhall Road.  In the pickup were passengers; Richard Ellis, and Justin Pensinger.

East of Highway 43, the Sierra drifted off the roadway and rolled over several times.

Pensinger suffered major injuries.  He was medi-flighted to Kern Medical Center, for treatment.  Teagarden and Ellis received minor to moderate injuries.

Teagarden was arrested for driving while under the influence.

DUI Truck Collision in Kern County, on Brimhall Road

August 18, 2015- A rollover vehicle collision leads to the arrest of a woman for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.  The truck accident happened in Bakersfield, on Tuesday, at approximately 3:40 AM.

A female driver, identified at J. Teagarden, 20, was driving a GMC Sierra truck on Brimhall Road.  Passengers; Richard Ellis, and Justin Pensinger were in the pickup with the woman.

The GMC veered off the roadway, east of Highway 43, and overturned.

It is reported that none of the truck's occupants were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

Pensinger sustained serious injuries.  He was airlifted to Kern Medical Center.  Teagarden and Ellis sustained minor to moderate injuries.

Teagarden is now under arrest for drunk driving.

Rollover Pickup Truck Accident, on Brimhall Road, in Bakersfield

Bakersfield, Fresno, Visalia Collision Attorney John L. Rozier has the following accident report; On Tuesday, August 18, 2015,  a rollover pickup truck accident happened in Kern County.  The vehicle crash led to multiple people injured, in Bakersfield, at about 3:44 AM.

The pickup truck was driving on Brimhall Road, east of Highway 43.  The vehicle lost control and overturned.  It came to rest at the side of the roadway.

One man sustained severe injuries and was taken by helicopter to Kern Medical Center.  Two other people suffered moderate injuries and were also taken to the hospital by ambulance.

The collision is under investigation.
