February 6, 2012- A man's leg had to be amputated after a truck hit him and pinned him to a wall, in Wasco. The crash happened on Monday.
Ruben Ocampo was walking into a business on F Street, to get his taxes done. A female driver lost control of the pickup truck, ran up onto the curb, and struck him, pushing him into the building.
The sheriff's department said the accident occurred, because of possible brake malfunction. Speed, alcohol and drugs were not a factor in the collision.
Ocampo suffered major injuries to both legs, and was medi-flighted to Kern Medical Center, in Bakersfield. One of his legs was amputated, and he is expected to undergo more surgeries.

April 1 Fresno accident at San Jaoquin and Fulton blamed on Toyota Camry
On April 1 a Toyota Camry was involved in a bizarre accident at San Joaquin and Fulton in Fresno. Reportedly Hasmig Megerdichian was trying to park his Camry in front of a farmer's market when the car bounced over a curb, down an alley, over railroad ties back into the parking lot, before finally hitting a parked car which then hit another car. Megerdichian claims that she applied the brake but the car accelerated instead. A passenger in the Camry and a passenger in one of the cars that was hit complained of pain and were taken to a local hospital to be checked out. Due to recent recalls, any accident involving a Toyota warrents further investigation. Please contact us at http://www.nelsonrozier.com/ or call attorney John Rozier at 559-713-0159.
