Pickup Truck Accident Ends Fatally for Pedestrian in Bakersfield

July 29, 2014- An adult male was struck and killed in a pedestrian accident, in Kern County.  The fatal pickup truck collision happened in Bakersfield, Tuesday, at about 6:42 AM.

A white pickup truck was westbound on Wilson Road, when for an unknown reason, it left the roadway at hit a pedestrian walking across Wilson Rd., near Edgemont Drive.

The impact of the crash sent the truck into the yard of a nearby home, at Westholme Boulevard.

The pedestrian died at the scene of the accident.

Officers reported that alcohol and drugs are not a factor in the collision.

Bakersfield Roll-over Car Accident on Wilson Road

May 21, 2014- A truck collision leads to vehicle rollover, in Bakersfield.  The accident occurred on Wednesday, before 9:15 AM.

The incident took place on Wilson Road and H Street.  It involved two, possibly three vehicles; which included a white Hyundai SUV and a blue Chevy pickup truck.  The truck rolled over as a result of the collision.
