Porterville Car Collision on Main Street and Grand Avenue

Visalia Elderly Maltreatment Lawyer John Rozier has the following update; On Friday, August 15, 2014, a vehicle collision took place in Tulare County.  The car accident happened in Porterville, at about 5:20 PM.

Brenda Salas, of Lindsay, was driving a white Chevrolet Malibu eastbound on North Grand Avenue.  At the intersection of North Grand and North Main Street, Salas ran a stop sign and collided with a red Ford Focus, driven by Hailey Noland, of Porterville.  The Ford was traveling south on Main Street at about 45-50 mph, when the Chevy Malibu hit the front end of the vehicle.

One passengers in Noland's vehicle; Vanessa Agudo of Strathmore, sustained injuries and was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical, in Visalia.

No other information is known at this time.

Pedestrian Hit by Car in Downtown Visalia

January 6, 2012- A pedestrian was injured after a crash on Friday, in downtown Visalia, at about 1 PM.

A woman was walking across the street at the intersection of Locust Street and Main Street, when she was hit by an oncoming vehicle.

The pedestrian suffered minor injuries to her left wrist. The driver of the car was not injured.

Suspected DUI Crash in Downtown Visalia

December 3, 2011- A driver and his passenger crashed their vehicle into a tree in downtown Visalia, Saturday, at about 12:30 AM.

A 1999 Pontiac Trans Am, driven by Ozvaldo Mendoza, struck a curb and lost control of his car. The Trans Am spun out of control and hit a tree at the corner of Main Street and Floral Street.

Mendoza, and the passenger, Jesus Aguilar received major injuries and were taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center.

It is reported that alcohol was a factor in the crash, and Mendoza was arrested for DUI.

City Bus Hits Parked Vehicle

September 6, 2011- A Visalia city bus hit a parked Toyota Tacoma Tuesday morning. The accident happened as the bus was turning south from Main Street onto Conyer Street. The bus driver was reported to be paying attention to the northbound traffic on Conyer St. while turning, and did not see the parked truck. No one was injured from the crash.

Visalia Business Hit By Out of Control Car

August 15, 2011- A local business in Visalia was hit by an out of control car on Monday. A driver ran her vehicle into the front of Clay Café, on Main Street at about 4:35 PM. The collision caused the windows of the business to shatter, and some damage to the brick facade. No one was hurt.

The driver of the car lost control when she accidentally pushed her gas pedal instead of the breaks. All the customers in the café had left 30 minutes before the accident happened. There was only one employee in the store at the time the incident occurred.

October 13 Porterville Accident

On October 13 there was an accident involving a car, a motorcycle, and a power pole in Porterville that sent one person to the hospital and killed the power in the area. Reportedly the accident happened at the intersection of Avenue 120 and Main Street in Porterville. One person was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center with major injuries. No further details are available at this time.
