August 24 Strathmore Accident
On August 24 Bernardo Zavala critically injured in an accident in Strathmore in Tulare County. According to reports Zavala was westbound on Avenue 184 when he ran a stop sign. His van was then hit by a truck, driven by Michael Stone, traveling northbound on Road 208. Zavala had failed to yield at the stop sign, therefore Stone had the right of way. Zavala was taken via helicopter to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno where he was listed in critical condition. Stone escaped the accident uninjured. It is unknown why Zavala did not stop at the stop sign. www.nelsonrozier.com
August 24 wrongful death pedestrian accident in Tulare County
On August 24 a man was killed when he was hit by a car. The accident happened near the intersection of Avenue 80 and Road 131 near Visalia in Tulare County. Reportedly that the victim was standing in the westbound lane of Avenue 80 when the vehicle hit him. The driver took off after the accident.
Motorcycle crash in Tulare sends man to hospital
August 24, 2010--Yesterday's motorcycle crash west of Tulare sent Henry Carrasco, age 35 of Tulare to the hospital with serious leg injuries. The location of the accident was on West street just north of Gail. A Ford Explorer driven by Phyllis Valenzuela reportedly turned left into his path.
Before the vehicles are repaired it would be important to determine ifthe black box data on the Explorer may have preserved the speed of that vehicle. Fatal big rig accident in Tulare County
August 23, 2010--Yesterday's fatal big rig accident in Tulare County killed a Tulare man who was a passenger in a van which ran a stop sign. The location was Avenue 232 and Road 36. The van driven by Victor Anguiano broadsided a freightliner driven by Valentin Ramirez.
The deceased was identified as Luis Camacho Asa. If his family would like this accident investigated, please give us a call.
