Van Collision With Bakersfield Patrol Car on Calloway Drive

May 7, 2014- A driver suspected to be under the influence, crashed into a patrol car, in Bakersfield.  The accident happened early Wednesday, at about 12:30 AM.

A white van drove through the intersection of Calloway Drive and Zenith Avenue, and right into tjhe path of a Bakersfield Police cruiser.

The officer in the vehicle sustained minor injuries.

The van's driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

DUI Vehicle Collision in Bakersfield on Calloway Drive

April 23, 2014- A vehicle collision leads to serious injuries, in Bakersfield California, on Wednesday.  The accident happened at the intersection of Calloway Drive and Marby Grange Way, at approximately 2:54 PM.

A white Chevy van from Bakersfield Locksmithing, which was driven by Keith Majusiak, was headed north on Calloway Drive.  At the intersection it crashed into a silver Toyota car that had been westbound on Marby Grange Way.  Police officers reported that Majusiak was driving while under the influence of alcohol.

The driver of the Toyota sedan suffered major injuries in the crash, and was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.

The Bakersfield Police arrested Majusiak for DUI, and causing great bodily harm.
