Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Fresno County, on Newmark Avenue

A motorcyclist was riding his bike along Newmark Avenue, when the motorcycle ran into a concrete pipe that was in the street.  The accident took place near Jefferson Avenue.  

The biker was ejected from the vehicle.  He died at the scene of the incident.

Motorcycle Collision Ends in Fatality, Near Parlier, on Newmark Avenue

March 22, 2015- A motorcyclist was killed in a car accident that happened in Fresno County, Sunday night.  The motorcycle collision took place near Parlier, at about 8:30 PM.

The vehicle crash occurred along Newmark Avenue, near Jefferson Avenue.  Police reported that the biker hit a concrete pipe that was in the roadway.  The man was thrown from his motorcycle.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Fresno County Multi-Car Collision, near Parlier Caused by Wrong-Way Driver

On Thursday, February 12, 2015, foggy weather contributed to a multi-vehicle accident near Parlier.  The Fresno County 4-car pileup was caused by wrong-way driver, at Manning and Riverbend avenues, at around 6:30 AM.

The California Highway Patrol reported that one driver was traveling eastbound in the opposite lanes of traffic on Manning Avenue.  The crash hurt at least two people.  Those injured were taken to a local hospital.

Officers reported that the fog could have been a factor in the collision.

Young Boy Hit and Killed While Walking to School From a Collision on Tuolumne Street, in Parlier

An update to the collision that took the life of a 9-year-old boy, in Parlier.  The pedestrian accident occurred on Thursday, January 29, 2015, in Fresno County, at about 9:30 AM.

The child has been identified as Diego Estrada.

Diego Estrada, plus a 17 year old boy, and 16 year old girl, were walking down the sidewalk at Tuolumne Street and Madsen Avenue.  Estrada was on his way to school at Brletic Elementary.

An 18 year old driver of a white pickup truck tried to make a U-turn when the vehicle swerved up the sidewalk and hit the three juveniles.  The truck then smashed into a brick wall.

Estrada was pronounced dead at the scene.  The other two pedestrians sustained injuries and were taken to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno for treatment.

Fresno County Pedestrian Accident in Parlier, 9 Year Old Fatally Wounded

January 29, 2015- A young pedestrian was struck and killed on Thursday, in Parlier, southeast of Fresno.  The vehicle accident happened at about 9:30 AM, at Tuolumne Street and Madsen Avenue.

A 9 year old boy, and two other juveniles, were walking on the sidewalk.  The little boy was on his way to Brletic Elementary School.

At that time an 18 year old driver was attempting to make a U-turn, when he lost control of his pickup truck.  The white truck veered up onto the sidewalk and hit the three minors.  The pickup then crashed into a brick wall.

The boy died at the scene of the collision.  The other victims, a 17 year old boy, and a 16 year old girl suffered injuries.  They were taken to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.

The crash is under investigation.

Pedestrian Struck By Three Vehicles in Parlier

January 31, 2012- A pedestrian was struck and killed in Parlier, on Tuesday, at about 5:45 PM.

The man was crossing the street at Academy Avenue and Parlier Avenue, when he was hit by a vehicle.

After being hit the first time, the man tried to get up and make it to the side, but he was struck by two other vehicles.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

It is reported that all three drivers stopped and tried to help the man after the accident.

Witnesses say that poor lighting in the area is to blame for the collision.

May 25 fatal motorcycle accident near Parlier

On May 25 Richard Scotti was killed in a motorcycle accident on Rose Avenue near Parlier in Fresno County. Reportedly Scotti, a Selma resident, was riding his motorcycle west on Rose Avenue near the intersection with Smith Avenue when he hit a Ford F-150. The pickup truck was also westbound on Rose Avenue at the time of the accident.

October 10 wrongful death on ATV in Parlier

On October 10 Roger Valentine was declared dead after crashing his ATV near Parlier in Fresno County. According to reports Valentine was riding the Yamaha Rhino ATV along a dry canal that ran adjacent to Newmark Avenue near Lincoln Avenue with a 14-year-old passenger when Valentine made an abrupt turn to avoid hitting a power pole. The turn caused the ATV to roll down the embankment and into the canal. Valentine was not harnessed in and was thrown from the ATV. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. His passenger, however, was restrained to the ATV and suffered a broken leg.

October 1 wrongful death in Parlier

On October 1 an unidentified man was killed in a fatal accident in Parlier in Fresno County. Reportedly the victim was diving west on Adams Avenue near Newmark Avenue when he drifted off the road and hit a concrete canal barrier. This caused his truck to roll several times before bursting into flames. The driver was declared dead at the scene of the accident.

January 18, 2010--Yesterday's motor vehicle accident in Fresno County, near Parlier, injured 3 persons and resulted in one victim being airlifted to the hospital.  The crash took place at the intersection of Zediker Avenue and Adams Avenue.  Issues to be investigated further include whether a downed or blocked stop sign may have contributed to this accident, the speed of each vehicle and whether drugs or alcohol were involved.  If airbags were activated, then the event data recorders or black boxes in the vehicles may have recorded the pre-accident speeds. September 18 Fatal Accident in Parlier at Adams and Newmark

On September 18 Gloria Montano from Parlier was killed in an automobile accident when another vehicle ran a stop sign at the intersection of Adams and Newmark. Montano was travelling southbound on Newmark. She stopped at the intersection then continued across. A vehicle travelling westbound on Adams failed to stop and broadsided her car. The driver of the other vehicle attempted to drive away, but the vehicle broke down.
