December 4 Kern County Pedestrian Accident

On December 4 James Kelly was killed while crossing Lake Isabella Boulevard in an electric wheel chair. He was hit by a Toyota Tacoma driven by Robert John Lee. According to reports, Kelly was crossing west to east when he entered the street directly into Lee's path. Lee tried to avoid Kelly by slamming on his brakes and swerving, but was unable to avoid hitting him. Kelly was taken to Kern Valley Hospital where he was pronounced dead. This accident was truly a tragedy. It is unclear if Kelly was in the cross walk or why he entered the road way. It is also unknown if Kelly left any family behind. We would be interested in investigating this accident further. http://www.nelsonrozier.com/

Lake Isabella man in wheelchair run over

December 4, 2009--Last Friday a Lake Isabella man in Kern County was run over by a Toyota Tacoma driven by Robert John Lee. The victim was identified as 69 year old James T. Kelly.  He apparently crossed Lake Isabella Blvd. directly in the path of the vehicle leading to his wrongful death.  It is curious why the driver never saw the disabled man crossing the street and whether he was crossing in a crosswalk.  The law firm of Nelson and Rozier in Visalia would like to investigate this accident further.  Please call Attorney John Rozier at 559-713-0159.  http://www.nelsonrozier.com/
