February 26, 2012- A child was hit by an SUV in Clovis, in a crash on Sunday. The collision happened after 4:00 PM.
The accident happened in a Walmart parking lot, on Shaw Avenue, near Villa Avenue.
The 3 year-old was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot. The child was taken to the hospital for treatment. The condition of the child is unknown.
Officers reported that alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the incident, but the driver was unlicensed and cited at the scene.
