Automobile Accident on Highway 198, near Road 156, in Visalia

Tulare County Personal Injury Lawyer John Rozier has the following accident update; On Monday, August 10, 2015, a truck accident happened in Visalia.  The automobile collision occurred on westbound Highway 198.

A pickup truck hauling a trailer and a white car collided on the 198 freeway, near Road 156.  Traffic came to a halt as a result of the incident.

Tulare County Car Accident on Highway 99, in Visalia

August 18, 2015- A serious automobile collision occurred in Tulare County, on Tuesday.  The car accident happened on Highway 99, in Visalia, at about 12:48 PM.

The California Highway Patrol have reported that the crash involved two vehicles, on the southbound freeway at the Avenue 264 off-ramp.

A white Toyota sedan overturned several times and came to rest partially in the slow lane of Highway 99.

At least one person suffered major injuries and was airlifted to a local hospital.

Officers said that traffic was backed up on the south freeway to Hwy 198 for about an hour.

No other information is available at this time.

Tulare County Pickup Truck and Car Collision in Visalia, on Highway 198

On Monday, August 10, 2015, a car accident occurred on Highway 198, in Visalia.  The Tulare County pickup truck collision took place in the afternoon hours, on the westbound freeway.

A white automobile and a pickup with a trailer hitched to it, crashed into each other near Road 156.  Traffic on the highway was stopped for clean up and an investigation.

Vehicle Accident on Westbound Highway 198, in Visalia

August 10, 2015- A vehicle collision stopped traffic in Visalia, on Monday afternoon.  The Tulare County car and truck accident happened on Highway 198.

Officers reported that the crash involved a white automobile and a truck hauling a trailer.  The incident occurred on the westbound freeway of Hwy 198, near Road 156.

Traffic was delayed until the wreckage could be cleared.

No injuries were reported.

Police Car Chase Ends in Vehicle Collision at Rinaldi and Houston, in Visalia

Visalia Accident Attorney John Rozier has the subsequent collision report; On Wednesday, July 8, 2015, a car accident, following a police chase, occurred in Tulare County.  The vehicle crash happened  in north Visalia at about 4:30 PM.

A parked stolen Plymouth Neon, with two women and a man inside, was spotted by Visalia officers in the area of North Giddings Street.  As the police approached the automobile on foot, the Neon sped off, headed northbound.

The officers got in their patrol car and followed the Plymouth.  The officers broke off the chase as the stolen vehicle continued to drive at a high rate of speed through the neighborhood.

The Neon continued to speed away on Rinaldi Street, where it ran a stop sign at the intersection of Houston Avenue.  The auto then lost control, and crashed head-on into a Ford Thunderbird that was stopped at the north side of the intersection.

The three suspects then ran away on foot.  They were arrested a short time later in the backyard of a home that was just about four houses north of the incident.

The three victims in the Thunderbird, which included a child, did sustain injuries, but reportedly nothing serious.

Car Collision Ends in Fatality for Pedestrian, in Visalia, on Dinuba Boulevard

Update to pedestrian accident on Thursday, July, 2, 2105, in Tulare County.  The Visalia man that was hit and killed in a car collision has been identified.  The vehicle crash occurred at about 10 PM.

Antonio Contreras Campos, 56 years old, was crossing Dinuba Boulevard, near Vine Avenue, when he was struck by a 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis.  The Mercury, driven by Genaro Diaz Cabrera, 38 years old, was southbound on Dinuba Ave, at the time of the accident.

Campos suffered major injuries and was taken by helicopter to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.  He was pronounced dead in the hospital.

Cabrera was not injured in the incident.

Pedestrian Killed in Traffic Accident on Dinuba Boulevard, in Visalia

July 2, 2015- A pedestrian accident ends in fatality in Tulare County, on Thursday.  The car collision occurred in Visalia, on Dinuba Boulevard, at approximately 9:45 PM

A man in his 40's was crossing Dinuba Boulevard, just south of Vine Avenue.  At that time a 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis, driven by Genaro Diaz Cabrera, 38, was headed south on Dinuba.

The Mercury hit the pedestrian, which resulted in fatal injuries.  The man was airlifted Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno, where he was pronounced dead.

Cabrera was not hurt.

The accident is under investigation.

Tulare County SUV Crash Kills One, in Visalia, on Lovers Lane

May 31, 2015- A Tulare County woman was killed in an SUV collision, on Sunday.  The vehicle accident happened in Visalia, at approximately 1 PM, on Lovers Lane.

Michael Thayer, 19 years old, was driving a 2007 Jeep Patriot north on Lovers Lane.  The Sport Utility Vehicle tried to make a left turn onto Tulare Avenue, and was struck by a 1996 Honda Accord that was traveling south on Lovers Lane.

Fahm Sautern, 41, of Visalia, was a passenger in the Honda.  She sustained serious injuries.  She was taken by ambulance to Kaweah Delta Medical Center.  She succumbed to her injuries and died in the hospital on Thursday, June 4th.

Two other passengers in the Accord; Sou Saefong, and Ying Saechao, suffered minor to moderate injuries.  Ty Phanachone, 63 years old, the driver of the Honda, was not injured.  Thayer also was not hurt.

Head-on Car Collision Kills One on Road 80, near Visalia

Tulare County Personal Injury Lawyer John Rozier has the following accident report; On Sunday, June 14, 2015, a fatal car collision took place north of Visalia.  The head-on vehicle crash ended in fatality for one driver, at about 2:00 AM.

The accident happened when a Visalia man driving a station wagon was traveling southbound in the northbound lane of Road 80/Plaza Drive.  The station wagon smashed head-on into a 2012 Chevy, driven by Maria Equihua, of Sultana.

The Chevrolet had been traveling northbound on Road 80, north of Avenue 32, when the collision happened.  After colliding, the station wagon burst into flames, and was soon engulfed.  The driver died at the scene of the incident.

Equihua suffered serious injuries and was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for treatment.

Vehicle Accident in Visalia, on Lovers Lane and Tulare Avenue, One Killed

A car accident on Sunday, May 31, 2015, led to the death of a Visalia woman on Thursday.  The Tulare County vehicle collision took place in Visalia, at Lovers Lane, at around 1 PM.

A 2007 Jeep Patriot, driven by Michael Thayer, 19, was headed northbound on Lovers Lane.  The SUV attempted to make a westbound turn onto Tulare Avenue, when it was hit by a 1996 Honda Accord, driven by Ty Phanachone, 63.

The Honda was driving south on Lovers Lane when it smashed into the Jeep.

Fahm Sauteurn, 41, was a passenger in the Accord.  She suffered major internal injuries and was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center.  She later died on Thursday, June 4th.

Sou Saefong, and Ying Saechao, were also passengers in the Honda.  They sustained minor to moderate injuries.  The two drivers in the crash; Phanachone and Thayer, were not hurt.

Motor Scooter Accident on Houston Avenue and Goddard Street, in Visalia

May 15, 2015- A motor scooter collision left a woman seriously hurt, in Visalia.  The vehicle accident took place on Friday, at approximately 2:30 PM.

A motor scooter driven by Melissa Lystad, 19, was headed east on Houston Avenue.  A 2003 Ford Focus, driven by Tiffany Noi, 22, was going westbound on the roadway.

The scooter tried to turn left onto Goddard Street, and pulled out right in front of the car.  The vehicles collided, and Lystad was thrown from her scooter and hit the windshield of the Ford.

Lystad suffered major injuries and was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.

Three-Car Collision Ends in Hit and Run, in Visalia, on Divisadero Street

Tulare County Personal Injury Lawyer John Rozier has the following accident update; On Friday, May 8, 2015, three cars were involved in a vehicle collision in Visalia.  The multi-vehicle crash happened at about 4:05 PM, on Divisadero Street and Connelly Avenue.

Oliver Jackson, 24 years old, was driving a Mitsubishi automobile east on Connelly Avenue.  Jackson ran a stop sign at the intersection of Divisadero and was hit by a silver Mustang that was southbound on the roadway.

After the initial impact of the two vehicles, the Mustang then crashed into a parked Toyota Tacoma.  It rolled over and finally came to a stop on its roof.

The driver of the Mitsubishi ran away from the scene on foot, and was found nearby at his home.  He was arrested for hit-and-run.

The Mustang's occupants; a family of three, that included a 2/3 year old child, were injured.  The two passengers were taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for treatment.

Jackson was unharmed.

Car Collision at Noble Avenue and Giddings Street, in Visalia

May 17, 2015- A two-car crash left four people hurt, in Visalia, on Sunday.  The Tulare County vehicle accident happened at approximately 4:00 PM, at Noble Avenue.

A Honda Civic, driven by Daniel Hanson, 24 year old, was headed eastbound on Noble Avenue.  The Honda collided with a Volvo, driven by Matthew Maxson, 30 years old, at Giddings Street.

Hanson, and a 15 year old boy in the car, suffered major injuries.  The teenager was reported to have sustained serious head trauma.  Hanson's other passenger, Edward Montemayor, 39, received moderate injuries.

Maxson also suffered serious injuries to his upper body and head.  All the victims were taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, for treatment.  The police reported that they are in stable condition.

Pedestrian Accident on Ben Maddox Way, in Visalia

On Sunday, May 17, 2015, a man was critically injured after being hit by a car, in Tulare County.  The pedestrian accident happened in Visalia, at approximately 9 PM.

Mauricio Gomez Orrostieta, 48, was walking across Ben Maddox Way, south of Houston Avenue.  It is reported that he was not in a crosswalk at the time.  A 1994 Honda Civic, driven by Randi Turner, 28, was traveling on Ben Maddox when his vehicle struck Orrostieta.

The pedestrian suffered major injuries, and was taken by ambulance to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, in Visalia.

Hit and Run Multi-Vehicle Crash on Divisadero Street, in Visalia

May 8, 2015- A three-vehicle collision ended in a hit-and-run in Visalia, on Friday.  The Tulare County multiple car accident occurred on Divisadero Street and Connelly Avenue, at approximately 4:05 PM.

A silver Mitsubishi, driven by Oliver Jackson, 24, was headed eastbound on Connelly Ave.  The automobile failed to stop at the posted stop sign.  As Jackson drove into the intersection at Divisadero Street, a Mustang, traveling south, smashed into it.

The Mustang then collided with a Toyota Tacoma, that was parked along the side of Divisadero St.  The car then overturned and came to rest on its roof.

Jackson fled the scene of the crash on foot, and was later found at his nearby home.  He was arrested for hit and run.  He was not hurt in the incident.

The driver of the Mustang and two passengers, which included a 2/3-year-old child, were injured.  The two passengers were taken by ambulance to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, in Visalia.

Multiple Car Accident in Visalia on Divisadero Street and Connelly Avenue

Visalia Accident Lawyer John Rozier has the subsequent collision report; On Friday, May 8, 2015, a multi-vehicle crash occurred in Tulare County.  The car collision ended in one driver fleeing the scene, in Visalia, at about 4:05 PM.

The three car accident happened at the intersection of Divisadero Street, and Connelly Avenue.  One of the vehicles overturned in the incident.  The driver of one car ran from the scene.  Police were able to apprehend him at his nearby home.

A family of three, which included a 3 year old child, were injured in the collision.  They were taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for treatment.

Traffic Accident on McAuliff Street, One Killed, in Visalia

Tulare County Wrongful Death Lawyer John Rozier has the following collision report: On Tuesday, April 14, 2015, a fatal traffic accident took place in Visalia.  The rear-end vehicle crash that ended in the death of one driver, occurred at around 3:30 AM, on McAuliff Street, near Golden West High School.

Jose De Jesus Sanchez, 65, was driving south on McAuliff, in a black 1999 Hyundai Accent.  As the Accent was crossing the St. John's River bridge, a Honda Accord drove up behind it at a higher rater of speed.

The Honda, which was driven by Michael Coffman, 22, smashed into the back of the Hyundai.  Both cars were pushed south across the bridge, upon impact.  The automobiles came to rest in front of the high school.

Jose De Jesus Sanchez suffered fatal injuries, and was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.  Coffman and a passenger in the Accord, sustained injuries, but did not want medical treatment.

Fatal Car Crash on St. John's River Bridge in Visalia

April 14, 2015- A rear-end automobile accident took place in Visalia, on Tuesday.  The fatal car crash happened at the St. John's River bridge, on McAuliff Street, at around 3:30 AM.

Jose De Jesus Sanchez, 65, was driving a black 1999 Hyundai Accent, at a slower rate of speed, traveling south on McAuliff St., across the bridge.  At the same time a Honda Accord, driven by 22 year old Michael Coffman, was driving southbound on the bridge at a faster speed.

The Honda crashed into the back of the Hyundai, and pushed both vehicles south across the bridge.  The autos came to rest in front of Golden West High School.

Sanchez suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.

Coffman and a passenger in the Honda sustained minor injuries.  Both did not want medical treatment.

Tulare County Automobile Collision on McAuliff Street, in Visalia

On Tuesday, April 14, 2015, in Visalia, a vehicle collision ended in the death of a victim who has been identified as Jose De Jesus Sanchez.  The accident occurred on McAuliff Street, at approximately 3:30 AM.

A black, 1999 Hyundai Accent, driven by Jose De Jesus Sanchez, 65 years old, was headed southbound across the St. John's River bridge.  Michael Coffman, 22, and his passenger were also driving southbound on McAuliff St., in a black, Honda Accord.

Sanchez was driving at a slower rate of speed than Coffman, and the two cars crashed.  The Honda rear-ended the Hyundai, and both automobiles came to rest just south of the bridge, in front of Golden West High School.

Sanchez died at the scene of the collision.  Coffman and his passenger sustained injuries, but refused medical treatment.

The fatal accident continues to be under investigation.

Visalia Double Motorcycle Crash Ends in Fatality on Plaza Drive

April 18, 2015- a double motorcycle collision killed one in Tulare County, on Saturday.  The vehicle accident occurred in Visalia, on Plaza Drive, and about 4:40 PM.

Rafael Altamirano, of Tulare, was traveling south on Plaza Drive, riding a 2005 Harley Davidson bike.  As he was about to enter onto west Highway 198, Altamirano lost control of the motorcycle.  He and the Harley toppled to the ground.

As the motorcyclist attempted to get back up, he was hit by a 2004 Kawasaki Vulcan, driven by Harold Dunkin, 71.

Altamirano was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.  Dunkin was not hurt in the incident.
