DUI Accident in Fresno County on Englehart and Dinuba Avenues

September 28, 2014- A pickup truck collision near Reedley, killed one and injured others, on Sunday.  The vehicle accident happened at about 9:20 PM, in Fresno County.

Rene Resendez, was driving a GMC pickup truck, with passenger Javier Hernandez, of Parlier.  Resendez was reported to have been driving drunk when he ran a stop sign, at the intersection of Englehart Avenue and Dinuba Avenue, east of Reedley.

The GMC crashed into a Nissan Altima sedan, that had four occupants, including driver Omar Torres-Lopez, of Reedley.  The pickup truck overturned from the impact.  Hernandez, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the pickup.  He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The four victims in the Nissan suffered minor to major injuries.  Resendez sustained moderate injuries.  They were all transported to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno, for treatment.

Limo and U-Haul Collision near Reedley on Lincoln Avenue

September 2, 2014- Twelve people were injured in a vehicle collision between a U-haul and a limousine, in Fresno County.  The car accident happened northeast of Reedley, on Tuesday, at about 10:30 PM.

A white Cadillac limo was traveling east on Lincoln Avenue.  The vehicle which was carrying 12 passengers, stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Englehart Avenue and Lincoln Ave.

As the limousine was stopped a southbound U-Haul truck swerved off the roadway, and smashed into the other vehicle on the left rear driver's side.

The CHP reported that the driver of the moving truck fled the scene of the crash in a burgundy Honda Civic, that had been waiting.  Officers found alcohol on the floorboard of the U-haul.

One to two people were airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, for treatment.  The other 10-11 victims sustained injuries too, ranging from minor to moderate.

Pickup Truck Crashes Into Big Rig near Reedley

June 13, 2014- A pickup truck accident happened in Fresno County, killing one person, on Friday.  The wreck took place near Reedley, sometime before 2 AM.

A silver, Chevy Silverado truck was driving in the area of Dinuba Avenue and Englehart Avenue.  The driver of the Chevrolet drifted off the roadway, at smashed into the back of a semi truck, that was parked at the side of the street.

The Caifornia Highway Patrol found the driver pinned inside his pickup.  He died at the scene of the collision.

The CHP are investigating the cause of the crash.
