May 10 wrongful death on a dirt bike in Tulare County

On May 10 a 4-year-old boy was killed when he and the driver of a dirt bike were thrown from the bike while traveling at a high rate of speed in Tulare County. The accident happened near Road 168 and Avenue 168 near Woodville in Tulare County. The stolen dirt bike was traveling very fast on an unpaved road when it hit a steel cable. This caused the bike to crash and the two riders to be thrown from the bike. The four-year-old was then run over by a following dirt bike. Neither rider was wearing a helmet or other protective gear. The boy and the driver, 20-year-old Eduardo Martinez, were taken to a local hospital where the boy was pronounced dead. www.nelsonrozier.com

Porterville bike accident on Indiana Street

April 16, 2010--Last Friday's accident in Porterville between a bicycle and a truck caused major injuries to a 7 year old who was flown to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno.  The incident occurred on Indiana Street south of Montgomery.  The driver of the pick-up was David Herreld, age 49, of Springville.

Further issues to explore include the speed of the vehicle, whether Mr. Herreld was on the job at the time of the accident, and whether the minor child's family also carried uninsured motorist coverage for their family vehicles which may provide an additional source of recovery.  Please call us to find these answers.  Attorney John Rozier  559-713-1059 in Visalia, just 35 miles from the scene of this accident.  http://www.nelsonrozier.com/
