December 24 accident near Merced kills two

On December 24 two men were killed in a wrongful death accident near Dickenson Ferry Road and Gurr Road near Merced. The accident occurred when the driver of a pickup ran a stop sign and broad sided a sedan. A passenger in the sedan was hospitalized with injuries. December 24 fatal accident on Claribel Road and Coffee Road in Modesto

On December 24 a man was killed in an accident on Claribel Road near Coffee Road in Modesto. The accident occurred when the driver of a Toyota Corolla failed to stop at a stop sign. The car was traveling on Coffee Road when it went through the intersection, off the side of the road, turned back and crossed Claribel before hitting a utility pole. As the car hit the pole it spun. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected onto the road. He was then taken to Memorial Medical Center. Investigators believe that the driver was under the influence of methamphetamine at the time of the crash. The passenger in the vehicle was not injured. http://www.nelsonrozier.com/

2 Wrongful Deaths in collision near Merced

December 24, 2009--A Christmas Eve tragedy took the lives of both drivers in a motor vehicle collision near Merced.  A 2005 Ford F-350 pickup driving eastbound on Dickenson Ferry Road ran a stop sign and collided with a Ford Focus traveling southbound on Gurr Road.  A passenger in the Focus sustained major injuries and was transported to a hospital in Modesto.  Further  investigation will reveal if the stop sign was obstructed or if any other factor may have contributed to this accident.  Please call Attorney John Rozier to initiate this process.  559-713-0159  http://www.nelsonrozier.com/
