June 8, 2010--Two women waiting at a bus stop in Visalia yesterday afternoon were struck by a drunk driver. The driver was as Jason Thomas Howard, age 24 who was driving a 1986 Nissan. He initially struck a trash can and then lost control and hit the women. The victims were identified as Keri Sanders, age 40 and Demetria Davidson, age 32, who were both seriously injured. The accident was on Walnut near Ben Maddox.
Potential sources of recovery include Mr. Howard's insurance policy, punitive damages against him for driving while drunk, and possibly underinsured motorist coverages on vehicle policies owned by the two victims. Fatal crash on I-5 at manning
June 8, 2010--Earlier today there was a fatal accident on Interstae 5 in Central California near Manning Avenue in Fresno County. Also, at least one patient was being airlifted to a hospital. So far no other information is available.
