Head-on Motorcycle Collision in Exeter on Marinette Avenue

July 25, 2014- A motorcycle accident leaves one man injured, in Tulare County.  The vehicle collision occurred in Exeter, on Friday, at about 10:50 AM.

A motorcyclist was riding his bike down Marinette Avenue, west of Anderson Road.  He was traveling westbound and attempted to pass a vehicle in front of him.  While in the opposite lane to pass, the biker was hit head-on by a silver four-door car.

The collision threw the man from his motorcycle and into a tree at the side of the roadway.

The motorcyclist sustained moderate injuries, and was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, in Visalia.  No other injuries were reported.

June 5 Tulare County accident near Exeter injures 5

On June 5 five people were injured in an accident at the intersection of Visalia and Anderson Roads near Exeter in Tulare County. According to reports Duane Deeds was westbound on Visalia Road in his Chevy pickup as he approached the Anderson Road intersection. Deeds began to slow down as he approached the stop sign at the intersection. All the while, Kimberly Sanchez was behind Deeds in her Buick Park Avenue and was “attending to her iced tea drink that kept falling over” when she did not notice him slowing down and hit the back of Deed’s vehicle at approximately 40 mph. Sanchez and her passenger, 17-year-old Jennifer Robinson, suffered moderate injuries and were taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for treatment. Deeds also suffered moderate injuries. The passengers in Deeds’ vehicle, Regina Deeds and Noah Reeds, suffered minor injuries and were also treated at Kaweah Delta.

May 6 Tulare County bicycle accident

On May 6 a person was injured after being hit by a car while bicycling in Exeter in Tulare County. Reportedly the person was riding on Kaweah Avenue near Firebaugh Lane in Exeter when emergency personnel found him. He was bleeding from the head and appeared to be disoriented. April 4 Exeter accident on Spruce Street

On April 4 a truck crashed into a vacant building on Spruce Street in Exeter. Reportedly the man was driving his Ford F-150 on Spruce Street when he crashed into a load-bearing wall of a former medical marijuana facility. The crash caused $120,000 worth of damage. January 20 Exeter accident victim identified; alcohol may have been a factor

On January 20 Sylvia Ziranda of Cutler was killed in a wrongful death accident at Spruce Road and Firebaugh Avenue in Exeter. The driver of the other vehicle, Tomas Hernandez, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Reportedly, Ziranda was not wearing a seatbelt when the Nissan pickup she was riding in was hit head-on by a Honda Accord driven by Hernandez. Hernandez had crossed the center divider, causing the head-on collision. Hernandez is at Community Regional Medical Center in critical condition. http://www.nelsonrozier.com/

January 20 wrongful death accident at Spruce Road and Firebaugh Avenue in Exeter

On January 20 one person was killed in a wrongful death accident at Firebaugh Avenue and Spruce Road in Exeter. She was identified as 39 year old Sylvia Ziranda.  The accident involved a red Toyoto pickup, a white Honda, and a third vehicle. At least one other person is listed to be in critical condition and two people were pinned inside the vehicles.
