January 6, 2012- A car slams into a tree in northwest Fresno, on Friday, at about 7 AM.
A woman, driving a blue compact car, lost control of her vehicle as she was driving on Shaw Avenue, west of Palm Avenue. The car jumped the curb and smashed into a tree.
The woman suffered only minor injuries. The car was heavily damaged in the crash.

Pedestrian Killed on Shaw Avenue in Fresno
November 12, 2011- A Fresno man was killed after he was hit by a truck Saturday morning. The accident occurred at 5:45 AM.
The pedestrian, Adam Sotello, was walking onto Shaw Avenue, at Effie Street. It is reported that Sotellp walked off the center median into a westbound lane of Shaw Ave, where he was hit by a truck.
Sotello was confirmed dead at the scene of the crash.
The driver of the truck was not cited for the incident.

Two Pedestrians Hit in Two Separate Accidents in Fresno
October 5, 2011- Two different pedestrians and two vehicle accidents leaves one woman dead and another in serious condition early Wednesday morning in Fresno.
The fatal crash happened at about 3:45 AM at Feland Avenue and Shaw Avenue in northwest Fresno. An unidentified woman believed to be from Oakland, was hit by a car.
The other accident happened earlier when a homeless woman was struck by a vehicle at Herndon Avenue and Millbrook Avenue, in northeast Fresno. She suffered major injuries and was taken to the hospital for surgery.
The drivers in both incidents do not appear to be at fault.
Reports say that so far this year, there have been nine pedestrian fatalities in Fresno.

December 1 wrongful death pedestrian accident in Fresno
On December 1 a man was fatally injured after being hit by a car at the intersection of Cedar Avenue and Shaw Avenue in Fresno. According to reports the man was crossing Cedar when a westbound van hit him. The victim was taken to Community Regional Medical Center where he died.

June 17 Fresno Accident on Highway 41
On June 17 there was an injury accident on Highway 41 near Shaw Avenue in Fresno. Reportedly one vehilce had overturned. This resulted in a man being pinned inside the vehicle. Emergency crews were necessary in order to remove him from the vehicle. No further details have been made available about the cause of the accident, the number of injured persons, or the extent of the injuries.

May 21 Fresno Accident on Shaw involves 9 cars
On May 21 nine cars were involved in an accident on Shaw Avenue in Fresno. Reportedly the accident occurred just east of Palm Avenue around 3 pm. Fresno Fog Accidents
January 15, 2010--According to The Fresno Bee, several fog related traffic accidents occurred yesterday morning in and around Fresno. A major injury accident at Highway 145 and Shaw Avenue was reported by the CHP. Visibility was limited to 600 feet. A motorcycle was struck by a vehicle leaving the motorcycle rider with major injuries treated at Fresno Regional Community Medical Center.
Elsewhere, a crash involving a big rig and at least one other vehicle took place at Road 9 and Highway 152 northwest of Madera.

December 2 Fresno accident
Early on the morning if December 2 two people were hospitalized when a car and school bus collided at Brawley Avenue and Shaw Avenue in Fresno. The two people in the car were taken to the hospital. There were no students on the bus, and the bus driver was not treated for injuries. The people in the car were pinned inside and had to be rescued by firefighters who cut off the door.
