Car Collision at Noble Avenue and Giddings Street, in Visalia

May 17, 2015- A two-car crash left four people hurt, in Visalia, on Sunday.  The Tulare County vehicle accident happened at approximately 4:00 PM, at Noble Avenue.

A Honda Civic, driven by Daniel Hanson, 24 year old, was headed eastbound on Noble Avenue.  The Honda collided with a Volvo, driven by Matthew Maxson, 30 years old, at Giddings Street.

Hanson, and a 15 year old boy in the car, suffered major injuries.  The teenager was reported to have sustained serious head trauma.  Hanson's other passenger, Edward Montemayor, 39, received moderate injuries.

Maxson also suffered serious injuries to his upper body and head.  All the victims were taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, for treatment.  The police reported that they are in stable condition.

Pedestrian Collision in Southeast Visalia on Noble Avenue and McAulliff Street

Visalia Elder Abuse Lawyer John L. Rozier has the subsequent update; On Monday, September 8, 2014, a woman was struck and killed while walking, in Visalia.  The Tulare County pickup truck accident happened at about 8:15 PM.

Anna Rios, 83 years old, was walking in the area of Noble Avenue and McAuliff Street, when she was hit a GMC Sierra pickup truck, driven by Ana Oseguera.  The truck was traveling east on Noble Ave., towards McAuliff St.

Rios suffered serious head injuries, and was taken by ambulance to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, where she later died.

Car Accident Damages Social Security Building in Visalia

July 19, 2014- A vehicle accident leads to a ruptured gas line and damaged building, in Tulare County.  The car collision happened in Visalia, on Saturday, at about 11:15 PM.

A black, 2007 Honda Civic was reported to have been speeding with another vehicle, eastbound on Noble Avenue.  The automobile tried to make a turn into the Walmart parking lot.  Instead the Civic, driven by Juan Rodriguez, 22 years old, drove straight and struck a gas line and the Social Security Administration building on Noble Ave.

Rodriguez and one passenger were in the Honda, and neither were hurt in the crash.  Damages for the building were said to have been around $5,000.

Officers reported that speeding was determined to have caused the accident.

SUV Hits Fast Food Restaurant in Visalia Accident

March 10, 2014- A woman drove her SUV into a Burger King, in Visalia, California, on Monday morning.

The Visalia Police report that the driver, was headed south on Demaree Street, when a medical condition caused her to lose control of her vehicle.  The SUV crossed over the center divider into northbound traffic, and barreled through the drive-through sign of a Burger King that is on Demaree and Noble Avenue.


No other vehicles were involved in the crash.  Officials report that no one was hurt in the accident, and paramedics checked the driver out for medical clearance.  Her golden retriever was also in the SUV at the time of the collision.  The dog was cleared of injury as well.

Minivan Runs into Grocery Store in Visalia

January 8, 2012- Two elderly people were injured in an accident, in Visalia, Sunday afternoon, after hitting a building.

A minivan, driven by Joyce Warrick, 84, was in the Savemart parking lot on West Noble Avenue. She was reversing from a handicapped parking spot, released the brake and hit the gas pedal. The white van crashed into the west entrance of the grocery store.


Warrick and her husband, 91, suffered minor injuries in the crash, and were taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center.

Savemart's doors were damaged and are blocked off until they can be repaired.

Head-on Collision Injures Three People in Visalia

December 16, 2011- Three people were hurt Friday afternoon, in a crash in Visalia.

A silver Chevy Silverado with two occupants, was traveling south on Ben Maddox Way, when its driver ran through a red light as the Chevy was turning east onto Noble Avenue.

The Chevy collided head-on with a Ford Focus that was headed north on Ben Maddox.


The two people in the Silverado, and the driver of the Ford suffered neck and back injuries. They were taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for treatment.

Two Vehicle Crash in Visalia Cause SUV to Flip Over

September 2, 2011- An SUV flipped over and landed back on its wheels after being hit by another vehicle Friday, in Visalia. The accident happened at about 6 PM.

A Chevrolet Trailblazer going south on Mooney Boulevard ran a stop light at Noble Avenue and was hit by a Chevrolet Cobalt that was driving east on Noble.

A witness to the crash said that the Trailblazer flipped in the air after the impact and landed amid the plants in the center median on the south side of the intersection. The Cobalt spun and came to a stop in the intersection.

The woman driving the Cobalt declined to be taken to the hospital. A four year old boy in the Trailblazer complained of stomach pains and was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, by ambulance. The woman who was driving the Trailblazer didn’t appear to have serious injuries, and she accompanied the boy in the ambulance.

Three Car Crash in Visalia on Noble Avenue

September 1, 2011- A crash involving three cars, in Visalia, send two people to the hospital, on Thursday. The accident happened on Noble Avenue at Church Street.

The collision occurred when one vehicle slowed in the right lane on Noble Ave. Causing the two cars behind to rear-end the first car, and each other. Police are investigating whether the second car hit the first initially, or if it was pushed into the first by the impact of the third vehicle.


Two people were sent to Kaweah Delta Medical Center with injuries. The drivers in the other two cars refused medical treatment.

May 6 Visalia accident between Highway 198 and Noble Avenue at Mooney

 
On May 6 a car rolled over between Noble Avenue and Highway 198 at Mooney Boulevard in Visalia. Reportedly the driver of the vehicle was injured and complained of neck and back pain. The accident happened right at the off ramp of Highway 198 at Mooney Boulevard. Traffic was slow in the area for a time afterward. www.nelsonrozier.com

April 1 motorcycle accident in Visalia on Court Street


On April 1 a motorcyclist was injured after being hit by a car on Court Street between Myrtle and Noble Avenues. Reportedly the car was turning into a driveway when the accident happened. March 30 fire hydrant accident at Noble and Ben Maddox in Visalia

On March 30 a runaway Camaro hit a fire hydrant near the intersection of Ben Maddox and Noble in Visalia. The brakes and power steering on the Camaro, driven by Chris Fehlman, failed as Fehlman attempted to navigate a left turn. This sent the Camaro into a fire hydrant causing a geyser of water. Fehlman was able to sucessfully stop the car about a mile south of the incident. Neither Fehlman nor his passenger were injured. http://www.nelsonrozier.com/

Victims of November 27 Highway 198 accident in Visalia identified

On November 27 an accident on HIghway 198 at McAuliff took the life of Jorge Perez and placed Valentina Gonzalez in the hospital with major injuries. Perez was driving a Chevrolet westbound on Nobel Avenue, a frontage road of Highway 198, when his car veered and hit a tree near McAuliff Avenue. Officers are investigating this as a possible attempted murder/suicide.
