Kern County Fatal Car Collision on Cottonwood Road in Bakersfield

Visalia Elder Abuse Attorney John L. Rozier has the subsequent update; On Monday, September 8, 2014, a fatal accident occurred in Kern County.  The car collision happened in Bakersfield, at approximately 2:15 AM.

Jose Hernandez Lopez was driving his vehicle in the area of Cottonwood Road and East White Lane.  For an unexplained reason the driver left the roadway.  The car then smashed into a metal pipe, chain-link fence.

Lopez suffered major injuries and was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.

Car Hits Elementary School Fence in Wasco

February 24, 2012- a crash in Wasco damages elementary school fence, on Friday. The accident happened at about 7:40 PM.

Jorge Sandoval was driving on Palm Avenue and lost control of his vehicle. The car left the roadway, hit a tree, and veered back onto the road. It then swerved across the roadway, and crashed into the fence of Palm Avenue Elementary School, at Palm and 9th Place.


Sandoval was pinned inside his vehicle, until crews arrived. He suffered serious injuries and was flown to Kern Medical Center, in Bakersfield.
