March 28 Los Banos accident kills Visalia woman

On March 28 Andrea Hernandez of Visalia died in a hit and run accident near Los Banos on Highway 152. According to reports Hernandez was driving east on Highway 152 in the slow lane when a vehicle in the fast lane began to pass her. Then the other vehicle crossed into the slow lane forcing Hernandez off the road. Hernandez went off the road, over-corrected her vehicle, and hit a power pole. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The driver of the other vehicle left the scene of the accident. Police have found a possible suspect in the wrongful death accident but have not made any arrests yet.

March 28 wrongful death accident on Adams Avenue and Pederson Avenue in Reedley

On March 28 Juan Leon and Ramon Garza were killed in a head-on collision on Adams Avenue in Reedley. Reportedly Leon was traveling westbound when he veered into the eastbound lane. He hit Ramon Garza's Toyota Camry head-on. Both Leon and Garza died as a result of the accident. Teresa Garza was a passenger in the Camry and was taken to Community Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. http://www.nelsonrozier.com/

March 28 wrongful death antenna accident in Modesto

On March 28 Jeremy Regalado was killed when he was electrocuted in a wrongful death accident in Modesto. Regalado was setting up a 35 to 40 foot tall antenna with Daniel Avila and another crew member when a gust of wind blew the antenna into a power line. Avila and Regalado were both struck with electricity. Avila suffered second-degree burns and Regalado was killed. The antenna was part of the set up for a bike race and would allow race officials to talk to each other via radio. According to Avila, Regalado was very experienced at setting up these antenna and had done so next to power lines before. The organization had used the antennas for 7 to 8 years without any previous problems. http://www.nelsonrozier.com/
