Fatal Car Collision on Granite Road in Kern County

June 11, 2014- A fatal car accident took place in Kern County, on Wednesday.  The fatality occurred on Granite Road, outside of Bakersfield, at about 4 PM.

Ryan Richard Gaxiola, 10 years old, from Bakersfield, was a passenger in a vehicle that was traveling on Granite Road, south of Round Mountain Road.  The car crashed into a second vehicle, which reportedly causing the death of Gaxiola.

No other information on the collision is known at this time.  The CHP have the accident under investigation.

Wrongful death on Kern County motorcycle

December 25, 2009--A Christmas day accident took the life of a 48 year old Bakersfield woman named Rosalinda Castanon.  The victim was riding as a passenger.  The driver was also injured and taken to Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield.  The accident occurred on Granite Road just west of Round mountain Road.
