Big Rig Collision on Highway 120 near Modesto

June 3, 2014- A semi truck and car collision leaves one woman with serious injuries, in Stanislaus County, on Tuesday.  The accident took place northeast of Modesto, near Knights Ferry, at approximately 5:55 AM.

Jennifer Cunningham, 31 years old, from Modesto, was driving a 2012 Toyota eastbound on Highway 120.  As she neared Kennedy Road, the Toyota veered off the road and onto the right shoulder.  The driver overcorrected, and the vehicle swerved into the westbound lane.

The Toyota drove head-on into a 2014 Peterbilt big rig, that was driven by Donald Herald, 46 years old.  The two vehicles collided, and Cunningham, who was reported to not have been wearing a seatbelt, sustained major injuries.  She was airlifted to Doctors Medical Center for treatment.

Herald was not hurt in the crash.

June 22 rollover accident near Porterville

On June 22 David Crouse was critically injured and three others suffered minor injuries in an accident on Road 256 near Porterville in Tulare County. According to reports, Crouse was driving a Peterbilt that was hauling two trailers when he hit a Toyota driven by Rosalinda Preciado. Preciado was attempting to turn right off of Road 256 at the time of the accident. The impact of the accident caused both the truck and the Toyota to rollover. Crouse was critically injured and was then taken via helicopter to Community Regional Medical Center. Preciado and her two passengers, L. Ellis and C.
