Head-on Car Accident with Trash Truck, Kills One, on Golden Hills Boulevard, in Kern County

Visalia, Bakersfield, Fresno Vehicle Accident Attorney John L. Rozier has the following accident report;  A man was killed in Kern County, after a head-on collision with a trash truck, on Tuesday, May 19, 2015.  The vehicle crash took place in Tehachapi, at about 6:30 AM.

The driver, James Thomas Doss, 50 years old, was traveling in a Chevrolet Cruz compact car westbound on Golden Hills Boulevard, approaching Brook Drive.    The car is reported to have been traveling at 50 miles per hour, when it crossed into oncoming traffic.

The automobile crashed head-on into a Benz Sanitation trash truck, driven by Jorge Garcia, traveling east at 40 mph.

Doss died at the scene of the incident.  Garcia suffered moderate injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Tehachapi Car Accident on Westwood Boulevard, Vehicle Hits Power Pole

Visalia Nursing Home Lawyer John Rozier has the following accident report; On Monday, October 20, 2014, an automobile accident knocks out power pole in Kern County.  The car collision occurred in Tehachapi, at approximately 11 AM.

A Toyota Camry, driven by Rhonda Keeler, was traveling on Westwood Boulevard, when she crashed into a power pole, and then into a fence.

Keeler continued to drive the vehicle southbound and onto Reeves Street, before stopping the Toyota.  She is suspected of driving while under the influence.

Pedestrian Killed in SUV Accident in Tehachapi

August 14, 2014- On Thursday a 56 year old Tehachapi pedestrian died after a vehicle accident.  The collision took place in Kern County, at approximately 4:15 PM.

Julie Mosier was walking across the 200 block of West Valley Boulevard, when she was hit by an SUV.

Mosier suffered serious injuries and was taken to Tehachapi Hospital where she later died from her wounds.

No word on whether anyone in the Sport Utility Vehicle was injured in the accident.

Train and Car Accident Kills One Person in Tehachapi

Visalia Senior Citizen Abuse Lawyer John L. Rozier has the following collision update; On Wednesday, July 23, 2014, a fatal accident leaves one person dead as after car collides with a train.  The Kern County collision happened in Tehachapi.

The incident occurred on Tehachapi Boulevard, near then Lehigh Southwest Cement Company.  The fatality took place about five miles from downtown Tehachapi.

The CHP reported that the crash is under investigation.  It is not known if the red car lost control, or if there is a train crossing at that roadway.

Snow Flurries Causes Accidents in Tehachapi

February 15, 2012- Snow flurries and poor driving conditions in Tehachapi causes crash on Wednesday.

A rapid storm front moved through the area during mid-morning causing multiple reports of vehicles stuck on Banducci Road, west of Highline Road.


Among the stuck vehicles appeared to be a fire truck and two patrol cars that were responding to a crash.
