Fatality in a Crash on Grangeville Blvd near Lemoore

December 13, 2011- A two vehicle accident ends in fatality, near Lemoore, just minutes from Visalia, on Tuesday, at about 6:50 AM.

Jorge Martinez, of Hanford, was driving a 1994 Ford Thunderbird, westbound on Grangeville Boulevard, near the intersection of 15th Avenue and Grangeville.

A 2003 Jeep Cherokee traveling east on Grangeville Blvd., at about 50-55 mph, drifted into the westbound lane and slammed into the Thunderbird.

After the impact of the crash, the Thunderbird rolled into a nearby field.

Martinez was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.

The driver of the Cherokee was taken to Adventist Medical Center in Hanford, were she was treated for minor injuries.

Hanford Man Dies in a Crash on Grangeville Boulevard

December 13, 2011- A man died in a fatal accident near Hanford, west of Visalia, Tuesday morning, at about 6:50 AM.

The 36 year-old Hanford man, was driving a Ford Thunderbird west on Grangeville Boulevard. While a Jeep Cherokee, driven by Victoria Mavricakis, of Hanford, was traveling east on Grangeville, west of 15th Avenue, at about 50-55 mph.

For reasons unknown, Mavricakis's Jeep drifted into the westbound lane and hit the driver's side of the Thunderbird.

The Hanford man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The CHP reported that alcohol and drugs were not a factor in the collision. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

March 13 Hanford accident at Grangeville and 15th Street blamed on Toyota's brakes

On March 13 Lynda Bisseger was injured in an accident in Hanford at Grangeville Avenue and 15th Street. Reportedly the brakes failed on Bisseger's 2008 Toyota Sienna causing her to run the stop sign at that intersection.  Bessiger broke both of her feet as a result of the accident and had to undergo surgery. Her husband and grandson were also in the vehicle and were uninjured.
