January 26, 2012- An accident on Highway 99 in Turlock, north of Fresno, blocked traffic for about an hour, on Thursday. The crash happened at about 6:00 PM.
The collision occurred in the northbound lanes of the freeway, near the Main Street on-ramp. Two vehicles, one pulling a horse trailer, crashed into eachother.
After the impact of the crash, the vehicles caught on fire.
North and southbound lanes were closed until the wreckage could be cleared.
No information on any injuries. The Highway Patrol reported that there were no horses in the trailer.
