Motorcycle Accident Ends in Fatality, on Roberts Lane, in Bakersfield

Kern County Vehicle Accident Lawyer John Rozier has the following accident report; On Sunday, August 16, 2015, a semi truck collision ends in fatality for one motorcyclist.  The tractor-trailer crash took place in Bakersfield, at around 1 PM.

A motorcycle, driven by Donald Leon Williford, 55 years old, was traveling westbound on East Roberts Lane.  The biker tried to pass a big rig that was also headed west on Roberts Ln.  As the bike was passing on the right-hand side of the roadway, the vehicle veered to the left and hit the semi's trailer.

Williford sustained severe injuries and was taken to Kern Medical Center, in Bakersfield.  He died a short time later in the hospital.

The big rig driver was not injured.

Motorcyclist Killed in Vehicle Collision With a Semi Truck, in Bakersfield

August 16, 2015- A motorcycle accident ends in fatality, in Kern County, on Sunday.  The big rig collision happened in Bakersfield, at approximately 1:00 PM.

Donald Leon Williford, 55, was riding his motorcycle west on East Roberts Lanes.  At Frontier Drive the motorcyclist tried to pass a semi truck on the right-hand side.

As he attempted to pass the bike drifted to the left and struck the big rig's trailer.

Williford suffered fatal injuries, and died 90 minutes later in a local hospital.

The tractor-trailer's driver was not hurt.

Motorcycle Collision Injures Two People, on Highway 190, in Tulare County

August 12, 2015- A motorcycle crash left two people injured in Tulare County, on Wednesday.  The vehicle accident happened near Porterville, on Highway 190, at around 10:15 PM.

P. Norton (first name unknown), 51, was traveling west on Highway 190, on a 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle.  Near Road 284 the motorcyclist made an unsafe turning movement, which caused the bike to lose control and overturn.

Norton and a female passenger; C. Black, 43, suffered moderate injuries.  They were taken by ambulance to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, in Visalia.  Both bikers were from Porterville.

Victim Identified in Motorcycle Collision on White Lane, in Bakersfield

Kern County Collision Attorney John L. Rozier has the following accident update; The motorcyclist that died in a Bakersfield vehicle collision has been identified.  The automobile crash took place on Friday, July 31, 2015, at about 3:15 AM.

Wesley Moreno, 33, of Bakersfield, was headed west on White Lane on his motorcycle, with a female passenger.  Just near Pin Oak Park Boulevard, the bike hit the center median of White Ln. and entered the eastbound lane of traffic.

The motorcycle then crashed into a car that was driving east on the roadway.

Moreno died at the scene of the collision.  The biker's passenger sustained moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

The car's driver was not harmed in the incident.

Motorcycle Crash Ends in Fatality, in Bakersfield, on White Lane

July 31, 2015- A motorcycle accident ends in fatality, on Friday, in Kern County.  The car collision took place in southwest Bakersfield, at approximately 3:16 AM.

The crash happened on White Lane, between Gosford and Old River roads.  A motorcyclist was traveling westbound on White Lane, when his bike hit the median.  The motorcycle traveled over the center divide and into oncoming traffic, where the biker ran into a vehicle driving east.

The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.  A woman, who was a passenger on the bike, suffered moderate injuries.  She was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The driver of the automobile was said to have not been hurt.

Motorcycle and Car Collision Causes Fire on Highway 178, in Kern County

July 29, 2015- A motorcycle collision sparks a grass fire in Kern County, on Wednesday.  The vehicle accident occurred on Highway 178, at approximately 5:00 PM.

The crash involved a motorcycle and one car.  The incident happened in the Kern River Canyon, near the Lower Richbar Campground.

Upon collision of the two vehicles, a fire erupted, soon engulfing both in flames.  The fire burned about a quarter-acre of grass along Highway 178, before firefighters could put it out.

The motorcyclist and two occupants in the automobile received minor injuries.

Motorcyclist Killed in Vehicle Crash at Avenue 192 and Road 192, in Tulare County

Tulare County Vehicle Collision Lawyer John Rozier has the following accident update; On Thursday, July 16, 2015, a motorcyclist was killed in a crash west of Plainview.  The pickup truck collision occurred at around 6:35 AM, at Avenue 192.

A 2005 Harley Davidson, driven by Ramon Carrasco, 55, of Ivanhoe, was headed westbound on Avenue 192.  The motorcycle was traveling behind a Ford F-350 that was hauling a small trailer, driven by Hotoy Morales, of Tulare.

The pickup truck tried to make a left-hand turn onto Road 192, when the biker tried to pass the vehicle through the intersection.  The Harley and Ford crashed, with the motorcycle hitting the left front fender of the truck.

Carrasco and his bike were thrown into the southwest corner guardrail of Avenue 192.  He suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident.

Morales did not receive any injuries.

Fresno Motorcycle Collision at Shields Avenue and Fresno Street

July 18, 2015- A motorcycle collision occurred in Central Fresno, on Saturday.  The automobile accident happened at approximately 6:30 AM, at Fresno Street and Shields Avenue.

The motorcyclist was reported to have crashed into the car, near a local Fire Station.  Firefighters said that they heard the crash and responded first.

The man who was riding the bike suffered serious injuries.  He was taken to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The driver of the car was not hurt in the incident.

Man Critically Injured in Motorcycle Collision on Ashlan Avenue, in Fresno

Fresno, Visalia, Bakersfield Collision Attorney John L. Rozier has the following accident report; On Thursday, July 16, 2015, a man was seriously hurt in a motorcycle accident.  The vehicle collision happened in West Central Fresno, at about 5:00 PM.

The motorcyclist was reportedly following a pickup truck, traveling westbound on Ashlan Avenue.  For an unknown reason, at the intersection of Hayes Avenue, the biker rear-ended the truck.

The man suffered major injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.  It is said that he is in critical condition.

Police have this incident under investigation.

No other information is available.

Motorcycle Accident in Tulare County ends in Fatality, at Avenue 192 and Road 192

July 16, 2015- A motorcycle collision ended in fatality, in Tulare County, on Thursday.  The pickup truck accident happened west of Plainview, at approximately 6:35 AM.

Ramon Carrasco, 55, of Ivanhoe, was traveling on his 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle, headed west on Avenue 192.  The motorcyclist was following a Ford F-350 truck, that was carrying a small trailer.

The pickup truck's driver, Hotoy Morales, of Tulare, attempted to turn left onto Road 192.  It is reported that Carrasco tried to pass the Ford on the left side, through the intersection.

The motorcycle and truck collided, with the Harley hitting the left front fender.  Upon impact the bike and rider were thrown into the guardrail at the southwest corner of Avenue 192.

Carrasco died at the scene of the crash.

Morales was not hurt in the incident.

Madera County Motorcycle Accident Ends in Fatality, on Highway 41, near Serpa Canyon Road

San Joaquin Valley Automobile Accident Lawyer John Rozier has the subsequent report; On Thursday, June 18, 2015, a motorcyclist was killed in Madera County.  The vehicle collision happened on Highway 41, at around 3 PM.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the incident was caused as traffic was slowing down on Highway 41, near Serpa Canyon Road.  The bike did not slow in time, and hit the back of another vehicle.

The biker was ejected from the motorcycle, upon impact.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Motorcyclist Killed After Vehicle Collision on Highway 41, in Madera County

On Thursday, June 18, 2015, a motorcycle accident ended in fatality on Highway 41.  The Madera County vehicle collision took place at about 3:00 PM, near Serpa Canyon Road.

The CHP have reported that the crash was caused when traffic started to slow down on the highway, and the motorcyclist did not slow down in time.

The biker crashed into the back of another automobile.  He was thrown from his bike and died at the scene of the incident.

No other injuries were reported.  The accident is under investigation.

Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Sunset Boulevard, Caused by Drunk Driver, near Arvin

Kern, Fresno, and Tulare County Wrongful Death Attorney John Rozier has the following update; On Wednesday, May 6, 2015, a motorcyclist was killed in a vehicle accident.  The pickup truck collision occurred near Arvin, at 6:10 PM.

The motorcyclist has been identified as Danny Darnell Cottengim, 57, of Bakersfield.  Cottengim was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Sunset Boulevard, when he was struck by a white pickup truck, near Towerline Road.

Angel Jimenez, the driver of the truck had been traveling west on Sunset, when he turned suddenly in front of the biker, and the two vehicles collided.  Cottengim was thrown from the bike and died at the scene.

Jimenez who was driving drunk at the time of the crash, was arrested.  He and his wife were uninjured.

Drunk Driving Truck Accident Leads to Death of Motorcyclist near Arvin, on Sunset Boulevard

Central California Car Collision Attorney John L. Rozier has the following report; On Wednesday, May 6, 2015 a vehicle accident killed a Kern County motorcyclist.  The pickup truck collision occurred near Arvin, during the evening hours.

Angel Jimenez, 52 years old, was driving a white pickup truck with his wife.  The pickup truck was traveling westbound on Sunset Boulevard, southeast of Bakersfield, near Tower Line Road.  Jimenez made a turn from Sunset Blvd., directly into the path of a motorcycle that was headed east on the roadway.

After the two vehicles collided, the biker was thrown from his motorcycle.  The man suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene of the crash.

Jimenez and his wife were not hurt.  The CHP arrested the driver for driving under the influence of alcohol.  It is reported that he had a blood-alcohol level that was great than .08.

Motorcycle Accident Leads to Fatality on Sunset Boulevard in Kern County

May 6, 2015- A suspected DUI collision leads to a drivers arrest in Kern County.  The fatal motorcycle accident happened near Arvin, southeast of Bakersfield, on Wednesday evening.

A white pickup truck, driven by Angel Jimenez, 52, and his wife, both from Arvin, were headed west on Sunset Boulevard.  The pickup truck turned, near Tower Line Road, into the path of a man riding on a motorcycle.

Upon impact with the truck, the motorcyclist was ejected from his bike.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Jimenez and his wife were not injured.

The California Highway Patrol reported that Jimenez had a blood-alcohol level that was greater than .08.  He was arrested at the scene of the crash for drunk driving.

Kern County Motorcycle Collision on Airport Drive in Oildale

On Monday, April 27, 2015, a motorcycle accident took place in Oildale.  The Kern County vehicle collision ended in arrest for one driver.

A motorcycle was reported to have been driving at a high rate of speed as it headed down Airport Drive.  The California Highway Patrol said that the biker was weaving in and out of traffic, and then ran into the back of a grey Sport Utility Vehicle at Airport Dr., and Lincoln Avenue.

The SUV then proceeded to flee the scene of the crash.  The driver of the vehicle was later found and arrested for leaving the scene of an accident.

The motorcyclist sustained injuries and was taken to Kern Medical Center, in Bakersfield.

Multiple Vehicle Accident on Highway 190 in Porterville

Tulare County Personal Injury Lawyer John Rozier has the following accident report; On Thursday, April 30, 2015, a three-vehicle collision occurred in Porterville.  The motorcycle crash happened on Highway 190, at about 11:40 AM.

The CHP reported that a Jeep, driven by Billy Joe Barrett, 72, of Porterville, was traveling west on Highway 190.  The Jeep veered off the highway, and smashed into the back of a Tulare County truck, filled with road signs, that was parked on the shoulder of the road.

The impact of the crash caused the vehicle to spin around and a Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by Donald Wayne Wright, 56, collided with the side of the Jeep.

Barrett sustained moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Sierra View Medical Center.  His passenger, Bridget Lynn Holland, 40, of Porterville, suffered major injuries to her legs.  She was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.

The motorcyclist, Don Wright, received minor injuries.  The county truck driver; 19 year old Austin Ralph Bodley, of Strathmore, also sustained minor injuries, but refused medical treatment.

The California Highway Patrol said that alcohol was not a factor in the incident.

Visalia Double Motorcycle Crash Ends in Fatality on Plaza Drive

April 18, 2015- a double motorcycle collision killed one in Tulare County, on Saturday.  The vehicle accident occurred in Visalia, on Plaza Drive, and about 4:40 PM.

Rafael Altamirano, of Tulare, was traveling south on Plaza Drive, riding a 2005 Harley Davidson bike.  As he was about to enter onto west Highway 198, Altamirano lost control of the motorcycle.  He and the Harley toppled to the ground.

As the motorcyclist attempted to get back up, he was hit by a 2004 Kawasaki Vulcan, driven by Harold Dunkin, 71.

Altamirano was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.  Dunkin was not hurt in the incident.

Motorcycle Accident on Airport Drive, in Oildale, Leads to An Arrest

April 27, 2015- A motorcycle collision ends in arrest in Kern County.  The vehicle accident happened in Oildale, Monday afternoon.

The CHP reported that the motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed and weaving in and out of traffic.  The motorcycle crashed into the back of a gray SUV at Airport Drive and Lincoln Avenue.

After being rear-ended by the bike, the grey Sport Utility Vehicle left the scene.  The driver was later found and arrested on suspicion of fleeing the scene of a crash.

The biker suffered injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

Fatal Motorcycle Collision on Plaza Drive and Highway 198, in Visalia

On Saturday, April 18, 2015, a motorcycle accident ended in fatality, in Visalia.  The vehicle collision that involved two bikes, occurred on Plaza Drive, at around 4:40 PM.

A 2005 Harley Davidson, driven by Rafael Altamirano, 28, of Tulare, was riding southbound on Plaza Drive.  He was getting ready to enter Highway 198 west, when Altamirano lost control of the motorcycle.

The Harley and the motorcyclist fell to the ground and as he tried to get back up, a 2004 Kawasaki Vulcan ran into him.  The Kawasaki bike was driven by Harold Dunkin, 71 years old.

Altamirano died at the scene of the crash.  Dunkin was not injured.
