January 20 Exeter accident victim identified; alcohol may have been a factor
On January 20 Sylvia Ziranda of Cutler was killed in a wrongful death accident at Spruce Road and Firebaugh Avenue in Exeter. The driver of the other vehicle, Tomas Hernandez, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Reportedly, Ziranda was not wearing a seatbelt when the Nissan pickup she was riding in was hit head-on by a Honda Accord driven by Hernandez. Hernandez had crossed the center divider, causing the head-on collision. Hernandez is at Community Regional Medical Center in critical condition. http://www.nelsonrozier.com/

January 20 wrongful death accident at Spruce Road and Firebaugh Avenue in Exeter
On January 20 one person was killed in a wrongful death accident at Firebaugh Avenue and Spruce Road in Exeter. She was identified as 39 year old Sylvia Ziranda. The accident involved a red Toyoto pickup, a white Honda, and a third vehicle. At least one other person is listed to be in critical condition and two people were pinned inside the vehicles. The cause of the crash and other pertinant details are unknown at this time. Alcohol use by Tomas Hernandez is suspected is suspected.
