Gas Line Hit by Car in Northeast Fresno

December 4, 2011- A car crash shut down a gas line in northeast Fresno, at about 10 AM.

A woman was taking a driving test, when she crashed her Honda into a large gas line, at the Department of Motor Vehicles. The accident forced the DMV to evacuate all occupants in the building.

The Sierra Lanes Bowling Alley across the street from the DMV, at Blackstone Avenue and Sierra Avenue also had to be cleared.

Fire crews have now reopened both buildings.

Sierra Ave Crash in Kingsburg

August 9, 2011- A Ford Taurus crashed into a vineyard on Sierra Avenue, east of southbound Highway 99 in Kingsburg. Only minor injuries are reported.

January 2 fatal Fresno accident details revealed

On January 2 Jeffrey Anderson was killed in a wrongful death accident when his vehicle hit a pillar on Sierra Avenue under Highway 168 in Fresno. Reportedly Anderson had a blood alcohol level of .21, nearly three times the legal limit, as well as hints of THC, a substance in marijuana in his blood at the time of the accident. He was killed as a result of the accident. His two passengers were taken to Community Regional Medical Center to be treated for injuries.

January 2 wrongful death accident in Clovis

On January 2 Jeffrey Anderson was killed in a wrongful death accident in Clovis. According to reports Anderson was driving on Sierra Avenue when he hit a pillar while traveling under Highway 168. Anderson was killed as a result of the accident. Two other passengers were in the vehicle and were taken to Community Regional Medical Center. No further details regarding the cause of the accident or the identities of the passengers is available at this time.
