John Rozier has the following accident report; On Sunday, August 31, 2014, a fatal traffic accident took place in Tulare County. The early morning vehicle collision happened west of Tulare, at approximately 3:30 AM.
Rudy Flores Pena, of Tulare, was southbound on Road 28, when he ran a stop sign at Avenue 232. His Dodge smashed into a 2001 Nissan, driven by Marin Garcia, of Tulare.
The Nissan was traveling east on Avenue 232 when Pena hit it. Garcia's passengers; Eliazar Torrez, and Rodrigo Rodriguez, were killed in the crash.
Garcia suffered serious injuries and was medi-flighted to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno. Pena also sustained major injuries and was taken to Tulare Regional Medical Center.

Porterville Auto Collision by Oak Grove School

Maltreatment Attorney John Rozier has the following report; On Monday, August 25, 2014, a three vehicle accident took place in Porterville. The Tulare County car collision happened in front of the Oak Grove Elementary School, at about 8:15 AM.
The driver of a red Nissan automobile was driving in front of the school during morning drop off. Witnesses reported that the driver appeared to have reached over for something and the car swerved into the back of a parked GMC Envoy Sport Utility Vehicle.
The impact of the crash pushed the SUV up onto the sidewalk and into the rear of a Chevy pickup truck.
One person in the GMC was injured, with lacerations to the head. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Motorcycle Collision on Highway 152 West of Los Banos
July 20, 2014- A Santa Paula man was injured in a motorcycle accident near Dinosaur Point, west of Los Banos. The vehicle collision took place on Highway 152, on Sunday, at about 4:15 AM.
Joseph Hermosillo, of Santa Paula, was traveling east on his 2002 Harley Davidson, on Highway 152. The Harley drifted onto the shoulder of the highway and hit a raised curb.
Hermosillo was thrown from the bike onto the right shoulder, and the motorcycle came to rest in the fast lane of the freeway. The Harley was then hit by a 2008 Nissan car, driven by Victor Marquez, of Los Banos.
Marquez lost control of the Nissan after it collided with the motorcycle, and the vehicle swerved onto the right shoulder and smashed into a rock embankment.
Joseph Hermosillo suffered serious injuries, and was taken to Memorial Hospital in Los Banos. Victor Marquez sustained minor injuries and did not need medical attention.

Update: Fatal Car Accident Near Lindsay on Highway 137
May 30, 2014- The Visalia man that was killed in the car collision which occurred in Tulare County, has been identified. The vehicle accident happened on Friday, near Lindsay, at about 11:30 AM.
The crash happened on Highway 137, west of Road 188. A 2001 Hyundai was headed west on the highway, when the vehicle swerved into oncoming traffic. It hit a GMC tow truck head-on, driven by Frank D. Smith. And debris from the collision struck a 2012 Nissan vehicle.
The driver of the Hyundai has been identified as 87 year old, George M. Franks. He died at the scene of the accident.
Smith was taken to Kaweah Delta Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Transit Bus and Two Other Vehicles Crash on Highway 63
October 19 2011- An Orosi woman was seriously injured in a car crash involving a transit bus and two other vehicles Wednesday afternoon on Highway 63, just miles from Visalia.
A Tulare County Area Transit bus was traveling northbound on Highway 63, just south of Cutler. The Orosi woman was driving a Nissan west on Avenue 400, when she went through the stop sign at the intersection, right in front of the transit bus.
The bus hit the driver’s side of the Nissan, then swerved trying to avoid a southbound Plymouth Acclaim, which was also swerving to avoid the bus. The bus and car were unable to avoid the collision with one another.
Fire crews used the Jaws of Life to free the Orosi driver from her vehicle. She was flown to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno. And is said to be in critical condition.
Three other people also suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital.

September 10, 2011- An update on the two vehicle crash that happened on Road 188, near Lindsay, Saturday evening. The people involved in the accident have been identified.
At about 6:50 PM, Jorge Banuelos, of Tulare, was driving his 1995 Nissan Hardbody north on Road 188. While Martin Gutierrez of Porterville, was driving his 1999 Chevy S-10 eastbound on Avenue 208.
Gutierrez had the right of way, with no stop sign on Avenue 208. Banuelos reportedly failed to stop at the posted stop sign on Road 188 and collided with the right side of the Nissan.
Banuelos, Gutierrez, and Gutierrez’s passenger, Blanca Gutierrez were all injured from the accident.
The collision remains under investigation.

Accident near Lindsay Results in Three People Injured
September 10, 2011- A 36-year-old man from Tulare received major injuries Saturday evening in an accident near Lindsay, 20 minutes from Visalia.
The CHP reported that the Tulare man was driving a 1990’s Nissan north on Road 188 at about 6:50 PM and ran a stop sign at the intersection at Avenue 208. His car was broadsided by a 1993 Chevrolet pickup truck, driven by a man from Porterville. The Porterville man had the right of way.
The man driving the Nissan was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno, with major injuries. The Porterville driver and his passenger suffered minor injuries from the crash, and were taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center in Visalia.
