Fresno County Car Crash Ends in Fatality, at Manning Avenue and Hills Valley Road

On Wednesday, September 2, 2015, a vehicle collision ended in fatality, near Orange Cove.  The Fresno County automobile accident happened at approximately 5:30 PM.

A Squaw Valley man, 77, was driving a 1985 Nissan, headed east on Manning Avenue.  The driver was reported to have not stopped at the intersection of Manning and S. Hills Valley Road.

The Nissan crashed into a 2000 Toyota, driven by a 27 year old man from Orange Cove, who was traveling southbound on Hills Valley.  Authorities reported that both vehicles overturned, and at least one of them caught fire.

The 77 year old man was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.  He was pronounced dead while in the hospital.

The Toyota's driver sustained minor injuries.  He was taken by ambulance to Reedley Hospital.

There was a passenger in each of the vehicles, and both were also hospitalized.

Hit and Run Car Accident Kills Teen on 9 1/4 Avenue, in Hanford

September 3, 2015- A single-vehicle accident leads to the death of a 13 year old boy, in Kings County.  The car collision happened in Hanford, at around 3:30 AM.

Jimmie Lee Love III, 20, was speeding north in a 2006 Toyota Camry, on 9 1/4 Avenue, north of Lacey Boulevard.  In the automobile were passengers; Javier Hernandez, Adam Aviles, 13, and a 15 year old boy.

Love lost control of the Toyota and the vehicle swerved off the east side of the road.  The Camry hit a utility pole and rolled several times, before coming to rest in a field.

Aviles suffered fatal injuries and was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The 15 year old teen was also taken by helicopter to CRMC in Fresno, having sustained major injuries.  Hernandez received minor injuries and was taken to Adventist Medical Center for treatment.

After the crash Love fled the scene.  He was later apprehended Thursday afternoon.  He was arrested for hit and run, vehicular manslaughter, and other charges.

Fatal Vehicle Accident near Orange Cove, on Manning Avenue

September 2, 2015- A fatal car collision occurred in Fresno County, on Wednesday.  The vehicle accident happened just south of Orange Cove, at around 5:30 PM.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the automobile crash involved two vehicles, in the area of Manning Avenue and S. Hills Valley Road.

Both vehicles overturned.  At least one of the cars caught fire and was soon engulfed in flames.

Authorities reported that there was a fatality.

No other information is known at this time.

Rollover DUI Truck Collision Ends in Fatality, in Bakersfield, on Brimhall Road

On Monday, August 18, 2015, a drunk driving accident took place in Bakersfield.  The rollover truck collision ended in the death of one passenger days later.  The vehicle crash happened on Brimhall Road, at around 3:40 AM.

J. Teagarden, 20, was driving a GMC Sierra pickup on Brimhall Road, near Highway 43.  The GMC drifted off the roadway, and the truck overturned.

Teagarden and her two passengers; Justin Pensinger, 26, and Richard Ellis, 25, were not wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.

Justin Pensinger suffered severe injuries and was taken to Kern Medical Center.  It is reported that he died in the hospital on Monday, August 31, 2015.

Teagarden and Ellis sustained minor injuries.  Teagarden was arrested for driving while under the influence.

Drunk Driving Accident Kills One, in Tulare County, on Avenue 280

August 30, 2015, a single-vehicle accident ended in fatality, in Tulare County, on Sunday.  The rollover car collision occurred at Avenue 280, east of Farmersville, at about 5:00 AM.

Jay Rodriguez, 27, of Visalia, was driving a 2004 Toyota Corolla, headed west on Avenue 280, near Road 156.  Authorities reported that he was traveling at 55 miles per hour.

The Toyota veered onto the shoulder of the road, and Rodriguez over-corrected.  The Corolla lost control, overturned, and then hit a utility pole.

Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident.

The CHP claim that the driver was intoxicated at the time of the collision.

Silage Truck and Car Collide, One Killed, near Hanford, on 14th Avenue

On Thursday, August 27, 2015, a fatal semi truck accident took place in Kings County.  The big rig collision occurred near Hanford, at approximately 4:30 PM.

A 22 year old Hanford man was driving a Honda Civic south on 14th Avenue.  A silage truck, driven by Mario Duran, of Corcoran was headed north on 14th Avenue.

The big rig slowed and started to turn left onto Fargo Avenue, without yielding to the automobile.  The Honda smashed into the front corner of the tractor-trailer.

The Civic's driver suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.  He later died in the hospital.

Duran was not harmed in the crash.

Big Rig Accident Kills One, on 14th Avenue & Fargo Avenue, in Kings County

August 27, 2015- A young man died in a car collision with a semi truck, on Thursday, near Hanford.  The Kings County big rig accident happened on 14th Avenue, at about 4:30 PM.

Mario Duran, of Corcoran, was driving a 1994 Peterbilt silage truck, traveling north on 14th Avenue.  At the same time a Honda Civic, driven by a Hanford man, 22, was southbound on 14th Ave.

The tractor-trailer attempted to turn left onto Fargo Avenue, and failed to yield to the Honda, which had the right-of-way.  The automobile crashed into the front corner of the big rig.

The car's driver sustained severe injuries.  He was taken by helicopter to Community Regional Medical Center, for treatment.  He died from his trauma in the hospital.

Duran was not injured.

Kern County 3-Vehicle Collision Ends in Fatality on Highway 46, near Wasco

August 27, 2015- A multiple car collision occurred near Wasco, on Thursday.  The fatal 3-vehicle accident happened on Highway 46, in Kern County, at around 4:55 AM.

A white, 2002 Chevy Malibu automobile was headed east on Hwy 46, when it drifted into oncoming traffic.  The car sideswiped a pickup truck, and then struck another truck head-on, near Gun Club Road.

Two people were pronounced dead at the scene, and one died in the hospital.  They have been identified as; Armando Murguia Contreras, 19, of McFarland, Victor Lara, 52, of Wasco, and Veronica Dias De Madrigal, 46, of Wasco.

One other person sustained major injuries.  He or she was taken by helicopter, to Kern Medical Center for treatment.

It has been reported that four of the people involved in the crash were employees of Wonderful Pistachios & Almonds.

The CHP have this accident under investigation.  They believe the driver of the Chevrolet fell asleep at the wheel.

Kings County Semi Truck Crash Ends Fatally, on 14th Avenue, near Hanford

Kings and Tulare County Wrongful Death Lawyer John Rozier has the following report; On Thursday, August 28, 2015, a semi truck crash ended in fatality, near Hanford.  The big rig collision happened at approximately 4:32 PM.

A Honda Civic automobile, driven by a 22 year old Hanford man, was headed south on 14th Avenue, near Fargo Avenue.  A Peterbilt tractor-trailer, driven by Mario Duran, 53, of Corcoran, was traveling north on 14th Ave.

The silage truck reportedly turned left, right in front of the car, and the two vehicles collided.

The Honda driver suffered major trauma.  He was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.  He later died in the hospital from his injuries.

Duran was not hurt in the accident.

Multiple Car Collision Kills One, near Wasco, at Kimberlina Road & Jumper Avenue

August 26, 2015- A fatal multiple vehicle accident took place in Kern County, on Wednesday afternoon.  The car collision occurred near Wasco, northwest of Bakersfield.

Steven Troy Ojeda, 47, of Bakersfield, was driving a silver Honda Civic in the area of Kimberlina Road and Jumper Avenue.  The Honda hit the back of a flatbed truck and then was rear-ended by another automobile.

Ojeda was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.

The California Highway Patrol have said that dust from nearby orchards could have contributed to the cause of the crash.

Multi-Vehicle Accident Kills Three People on Highway 46, in Kern County

On Thursday, August 27, 2015, a multi-vehicle crash ended in fatality for three people, in Kern County.  The pickup truck accident took place near Wasco, on Highway 46, at about 4:55 AM.

The CHP have reported that a white car was eastbound on Highway 46, near Gun Club Road, when it drifted into the opposite lane of traffic.  The automobile sideswiped a pickup truck, and then crashed head-on into a red truck.

Three victims died in the collision.  Also, a fourth person suffered severe injuries and was taken to Kern Medical Center, in Bakersfield.

The collision is under investigation.

Rollover Car Collision in Bakersfield, Kills One, on Panama Lane

Kern County Multi-Vehicle Accident Ends in Fatality, near Wasco, on Kimberlina Road

Tulare, Kern, Fresno County Personal Injury Lawyer John Rozier has the following accident report; On Wednesday, August 26, 2015, a multiple vehicle collision ended in fatality, near Wasco.  The car crash occurred northwest of Bakersfield, in Kern County.

The chain-reaction accident happened in the area of Kimberlina Road and Jumper Avenue.  Reports said that the driver of a silver automobile died in the incident after smashing into the back of a flat bed truck, and then getting hit by another vehicle.

The CHP reported that dust from nearby fields could have contributed to the collision, as it impacted visibility for the drivers.

Car Crash Ends in Fatality, in Bakersfield, at White Lane and Mountain Vista Drive

San Joaquin Valley Automobile Accident Lawyer John Rozier has the subsequent update; The two men killed in the Saturday morning collision that occurred in Bakersfield, have been identified.  The fatal car collision happened on August, 22, 2015,  at approximately 5:13 AM.

Austin Michael Harrelson was driving a gray 2005 Dodge Neon on White Lane and Mountain Vista Drive.  At the intersection for an unknown reason, Harrelson lost control of the car and the Dodge crashed into a light pole.

Harrelson and one of his passengers; Nathan Cruz Lopez, died at the scene of the accident.  Two females were also occupants in the Neon.  They both sustained injuries and were taken to Kern Medical Center for treatment.

Investigation for this incident is ongoing.

Vehicle Accident Ends in Fatality, and Starts Wildfire, in Mariposa County, on Harris Road

August 20, 2015- A car crash in Mariposa County, ends in fatality, on Thursday night.  The vehicle accident also sparked a wildfire, northeast of Fresno.

A 1986 Volkswagen Microbus, driven by John Pool, 68, was traveling on Harris Road, near Highway 49.  For an unknown reason the VW lost control, went off the road, and down an embankment.

Pool's van rolled over onto its roof and the vehicle then caught fire.  It burned 3 to 5 acres until emergency personnel put it out.

Pool was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident.

Fatal Automobile Crash on White Lane in Bakersfield

August 22, 2015- Two people were killed in a traffic collision, on Saturday, in Bakersfield.  The Kern County car accident happened at approximately 5:13 AM.

The vehicle crash occurred on Mountain Vista Drive, and White Lane.  A grey 2005 Dodge Neon was said to have been driving down the roadway, when for an unexplained reason, the automobile lost control and hit a light pole.

The male driver and a male passenger died at the scene.  Two female passengers in the Dodge were hurt.  One with serious injuries, and the other with moderate injuries.  They were taken to Kern Medical Center, in Bakersfield.

Motorcycle Accident Ends in Fatality, on Roberts Lane, in Bakersfield

Kern County Vehicle Accident Lawyer John Rozier has the following accident report; On Sunday, August 16, 2015, a semi truck collision ends in fatality for one motorcyclist.  The tractor-trailer crash took place in Bakersfield, at around 1 PM.

A motorcycle, driven by Donald Leon Williford, 55 years old, was traveling westbound on East Roberts Lane.  The biker tried to pass a big rig that was also headed west on Roberts Ln.  As the bike was passing on the right-hand side of the roadway, the vehicle veered to the left and hit the semi's trailer.

Williford sustained severe injuries and was taken to Kern Medical Center, in Bakersfield.  He died a short time later in the hospital.

The big rig driver was not injured.

Motorcyclist Killed in Vehicle Collision With a Semi Truck, in Bakersfield

August 16, 2015- A motorcycle accident ends in fatality, in Kern County, on Sunday.  The big rig collision happened in Bakersfield, at approximately 1:00 PM.

Donald Leon Williford, 55, was riding his motorcycle west on East Roberts Lanes.  At Frontier Drive the motorcyclist tried to pass a semi truck on the right-hand side.

As he attempted to pass the bike drifted to the left and struck the big rig's trailer.

Williford suffered fatal injuries, and died 90 minutes later in a local hospital.

The tractor-trailer's driver was not hurt.

Fresno County Semi Truck Crash Ends in Fatality for Dinuba Man, on Highway 43, near Selma

August 10, 2015- A semi truck crash ended in fatality for one person, on Monday, south of Selma.  The Fresno County big rig accident happened on Highway 43, at around 10 AM.

A 29 year old Dinuba man, was driving a Honda automobile, westbound on Mountain View Avenue.  At the same time a Manteca man was driving a tractor-trailer north on Highway 43.

One of the vehicles was reported to have driven through a red light and crashed into the other car, in the intersection of Mountain View and Hwy 43.  After colliding, the semi truck drove through a wall of nearby home, and came to a stop near the house's pool.

The Dinuba man died at the scene of the accident.

The big rig driver was uninjured.

Fatal Merced County Car Collision, on Henry Miller Road, in Los Banos

San Joaquin Valley Car Accident Lawyer John Rozier has the following report; On Sunday, August 9, 2015, an automobile collision left one teenager seriously injured in Merced County.  The fatal vehicle crash happened in Los Banos, at around 8:10 AM.

A 16 year old male was driving east in a 1999 Toyota Camry sedan, on Henry Miller Road, east of Cherokee Road.  The car veered off the roadway north and smashed into a power pole.

The utility pole was knocked over and the power lines were damaged.

A man, who was a passenger in the Toyota, was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.  The teenage driver suffered major injuries and was taken to Doctors Medical Center, in Modesto.

Their identities are unknown.
