August 28, 2014- A four vehicle collision leaves three people fatally wounded and others injured, in Fresno County. The multiple car accident occurred northeast of Caruthers, on Thursday, at about 6:30 PM.
Blaze Gottfried, of Clovis, was driving a Apria Healthcare medical truck west on Floral Avenue. The freightliner came to the intersection of Floral and Elm Avenue, and failed to stop at the posted stop sign.
The truck collided into a Chevy Avalanche SUV that was traveling north on Elm Ave. The big rig then smashed into a 1997 red Chrysler Town and Country van. And the Chevrolet hit a Nissan Cube, driven by Jennifer Toste, of Riverdale.
Three people in the Chrysler van died at the scene of the crash. A fourth person in the Town and Country suffered major injuries and was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.
Toste, the driver of the Nissan, sustained minor injuries. Her passengers; Cynthia Toste, and Mea Cole, also of Riverdale, also received minor injuries.
The medical truck's driver, Blaze Gottfried, was said to be uninjured. While the driver of the Chevy ran away on foot after the collision. He is still said to be at large.

Tanker Truck and School Bus Collision in Fresno County
May 12, 2014- A fuel truck and school bus accident injures 25 people, in Fresno County. The vehicle collision occurred Monday at about 2 PM, south of Fresno.
A big rig carrying 3,000 gallons of diesel fuel, was westbound on Central Avenue. The semi truck came to a stop at the intersection of Central and Elm avenues. It then pulled out into the intersection, right in front of a Orange Center Elementary School District bus. The bus was northbound on Elm Ave., with about 35-40 students in it, and did not have a stop sign.
There were 25 people hurt in the crash, with injuries ranging from minor to moderate. Of those twenty five victims, fifteen were taken to several local hospitals; Community Regional Medical Center, Saint Agnes Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente Medical, Children's Hospital Central California, and Clovis Community Medical.

Double Fatality in Southwest Fresno Car Collision
May 1, 2014- A single vehicle accident ends in a double fatality, in southwest Fresno. The collision took place on Thursday, at approximately 12:20 AM.
The victims in the crash were Terry Pegues Jr., and Tracy Kearney, of Fresno. They were driving in a silver Honda Accord early Thursday, on Elm Avenue.

As the Honda approached a curve, near California Avenue, the vehicle sped up and lost control. The car rolled over several times and hit a block wall, in an empty lot east of B Street and San Benito. The impact of the Accord caused the wall to topple over.
Both Pegues, and Kearney died at the scene of the accident.

Vehicle Crashed into Power Pole in Fresno at Elm & Mountain View Avenues
March 3, 2014- On Monday morning at about 8 AM. a car crash happened on Mountain View Avenue and Elm Avenue, in Fresno California.
The accident happened when the driver hit a power pole after loosing control of their vehicle. The vehicle then overturned.
Power is out for some PG&E customers. The CHP was at the scene of the collision.
No reports of injuries at this time. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
