Kenworth Semi Truck Collision on Avenue 368 & Road 80, near Visalia

November 17, 2014- A fatal big rig collision took place in Tulare County, near Visalia.  The tractor-trailer accident led to the death of a Porterville woman, on Monday, at about 7:10 AM.

A Toyota 4Runner, driven by Olivia Thomason, was traveling eastbound on Avenue 368, north of Visalia.  She drove into the intersection of Ave 368 and Road 80, because the traffic signal light was green.

As the Toyota was driving through the intersection, a Kenworth semi truck collided with the vehicle.  The big rig, which was driven by Navor Hernandez, of Bakersfield, was headed south on Road 80, when Hernandez ran the red light.  The semi was reported to have been traveling at 55 miles per hour, when it struck the Toyota.

The collision caused the 4Runner to crash into a Chevy Blazer that was across the roadway.  The Chevrolet was driven by William Celaya, of Dinuba.

Thomason died at the scene of the accident.  William Celaya was not hurt in the incident.  Hernandez sustained moderate injuries.  He was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Tulare County Tractor-Trailer Accident on Road 80 and Avenue 368

A semi truck collision took the life of a Porterville woman, on Monday, November 17, 2014.  The big rig accident happened in Tulare County, north of Visalia, at about 7:10 PM.

A Kenworth tractor-trailer, driven by Navor Hernandez, of Bakersfield, was driving southbound on Road 80, and about 55 mph.  At the intersection of Road 80 and Avenue 368, the rig drove through a red light and collided with a Toyota 4Runner.

The Toyota, was driven by Olivia Thomason/Thompson, who was headed east on Avenue 368.  Thomason had a green light at the intersection when the semi truck struck her vehicle.

The impact of the collision pushed the 4Runner across the street where it hit a Chevrolet Trailblazer, that was being driven by William Celaya, of Dinuba.

Thomason was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hernandez suffered moderate injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.  Celaya wasn't hurt in the crash.

Fatal Semi Truck Accident North of Visalia on Road 80

On Monday, November 17, 2014, a fatal big rig collision took place in Tulare County, at about 7:10 PM.  The semi truck accident killed a Porterville woman, on Road 80 and Avenue 368, north of Visalia.

Olivia Thomason of Porterville, was driving a Toyota 4Runner east on Avenue 368.  As the Toyota reached the intersection of Ave 368 and Road 80, Thomason had a green light. The vehicle drove into the intersection and was hit by a Kenworth tractor-trailer.

The semi, driven by Navor Hernandez, of Bakersfield, was headed south on Road 80, and did not stop at the posted red traffic light.  It is reported that the big rig was traveling at about 55 mph when it collided with the 4Runner.

Thomason's vehicle was pushed across the road and into a Chevy Blazer, driven by William Celaya, of Dinuba.

Thomason died at the scene of the crash.  Hernandez sustained moderate injuries.  He was taken by ambulance to the hospital.  Celaya was not injured in the wreck.

Porterville Woman Killed in Big Rig Collision on Road 80 and Avenue 368, Near Visalia

Tulare County Wrongful Death and Personal Injury Lawyer John L. Rozier has the following collision update; On Monday, November 17, 2014, and Porterville woman was killed in a vehicle accident with a semi truck.  The big rig crash took place north of Visalia, at about 7:10 PM.

A Kenworth tractor-trailer, driven by Navor Hernandez, of Bakersfield, was traveling southbound on Road 80, at about 55 miles per hour.  He failed to stop at a red light, at the intersection of Road 80 and Avenue 368.  The big rig ran into a 2003 Toyota 4Runner, that was driven by Olivia Thomason or Thompson.

Thomason had been eastbound on Avenue 368, when the semi truck collided with her SUV.  The impact pushed the Toyota across the roadway and it collided with a Chevrolet Blazer, that was driven by William Celaya, of Dinuba.

Thomason suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

Hernandez received moderate injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.  It is reported that Celaya was not injured.

Semi Truck Crash in Tulare County on Road 80 and Avenue 368

On Monday, November 17, 2014, a big rig collision ended in fatality, north of Visalia.  The Tulare County tractor-trailer accident occurred at about 7:10 PM.

Olivia Thomason of Porterville, was driving a 2003 Toyota 4Runner east on Avenue 368.  The Toyota came to the intersection of Ave 368 and Road 80 and had a green light at the posted traffic light.

As the SUV drove into the intersection a Kenworth semi truck, that was headed south on Road 80, ran the red light.  The driver of the big rig, Navor Hernandez, of Bakersfield, was said to have been traveling at about 55 mph when he collided the Toyota.

The 4Runner was pushed by the impact of the crash, across the road and into a 2003 Chevy Blazer, driven by William Celaya of Dinuba.

Thomason was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.  Hernandez sustained moderate injuries, and was taken to the hospital for treatment.  Celaya was not hurt.

Big Rig Accident North of Visalia Ends In Fatality for Porterville Woman

November 17, 2014- A semi truck accident took the life of a Porterville woman, in Tulare County.  The big rig collision occurred outside of Visalia, at approximately 7:10 PM.

Navor Hernandez, of Bakersfield, was driving a Kenworth tractor-trailer south on Road 80 at about 55 miles per hour.  The semi was reported to have driven through a red light, at the intersection of Road 80 and Avenue 368.

The big rig collided into a 2003 Toyota 4Runner, driven by Olivia Thomason/Thompson, of Porterville.  The Toyota was traveling eastbound on Avenue 368 and had the right of way.

After the semi truck hit the 4Runner, the SUV careened across the roadway and smashed into a 2003 Chevrolet Blazer.

Thomason died at the scene of the crash.  Hernandez suffered moderate injuries, and the driver of the Chevy; William Celaya of Dinuba, was not injured.

Hernandez could face charges of vehicular manslaughter for the accident.

Semi Truck Collision Kills Porterville Woman in Tulare County

Central California Accident Attorney John Rozier has the subsequent collision report; On Monday, November 17, 2014, an automobile accident in Tulare County ended fatally.  The big rig crash happened north of Visalia, at about 7:10 PM.

Olivia Thomason or Thompson, of Porterville, was driving a 2003 Toyota 4Runner east on Avenue 368.  At the intersection of Ave 368 and Road 80 the traffic light was green for her to continue to drive.

At the same time a Kenworth tractor-trailer, driven by Navor Hernandez, of Bakersfield, was southbound on Road 80.  The semi truck was reported to have been traveling at 55 mph when it failed to stop at the red light.  The big rig smashed into the left side of the Toyota.

The impact sent the SUV across the intersection and into a 2003 Chevy Blazer, driven by William Celaya, of Dinuba.

Thomason was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.  Hernandez sustained moderate injuries, and Celaya was not hurt.

Hernandez was not arrested at the scene of the incident, but could face charges of vehicular manslaughter.

Truck Collides with Building South of Dinuba

January 2, 2012- A Ford truck crashed into a building south of Dinuba, just minutes from Visalia, at about 3 AM, on Monday.

A Ford F-150 was driving on Avenue 368, west of Road 80, when it crashed into a building just off the road.

The impact of the accident caused an occupant of the vehicle to be ejected.

The occupant sustained major injuries and was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.

June 24 Tulare big rig accident

On June 24 Anthony Hoffert of Chino was seriously injured after his vehicle was hit by an 18-wheeler driven by Aaron Albrecht of Fresno. Reportedly Hoffert reached the intersection of Avenue 368 and Road 80 in north Tulare and stopped. He then proceeded into the intersection right into the path of the 18-wheeler. Albrecht applied his brakes and attempted to swerve, but his trailer hit Hoffert's car on the driver's side. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident. Albrecht managed to escape uninjured, but Hoffert was not as fortunate. Hoffert was taken to Tulare Regional Medical Center to be treated for major injuries.
