The biker, Jorge Campos, 33 years old, was riding on a 2009 Suzuki GSXR750, travelling north on the highway at 45-60 miles per hour. As he was driving, Campos missed a curve and the bike ran off the roadway onto the shoulder. The motorcycle then hit a hillside, and the rider was thrown from the vehicle.
Jorge Campos suffered major injuries and was airlifted to Doctors Medical Center, in Modesto.
