May 27 Merced Accident on a Motorcycle

On May 27 a man was injured in an accident on Highway 140 in Merced between a motorcycle and a Ford Mustang. Reportedly Wallace Dunn was westbound on his motorcycle when the Mustang, driven by Teresa Ledesma, turned in front of him. The motorcycle hit the side of the car. Dunn was thrown from the bike. Dunn was seriously injured as a result of the accident.

May 20 Merced accident on Rambler Road

On May 20 a 70-year-old man was injured in an accident on Rambler Road in Merced. Reportedly the man lost control of his Ford Sports Trac and hit a large tree on the side of the road. He was not intoxicated and it is suspected that a medical condition caused him to lose control of the vehicle. He was airlifted to the hospital. www.nelsonrozier.com

February 5 bicycle accident in Merced

On February 5 a Adam Stackhouse was hit by a car while riding his bicycle on Highway 140 near Easy Street in Merced. Stackhouse was riding eastbound on Highway 140 when he turned north onto Easy Street. Reportedly Ismael Bonilla was driving east on Highway 140 at the same time and was unable to avoid Stackhouse. November 14 DUI accident on Ashby road in Merced

On November 14 Raymond Cano crashed his Chevy Blazer on Ashby Road injuring himself and his passenger, Teresa Morales. Both Cano and Morales were flown to hospitals in Modesto for treatment. Morales is reported to have major injuries. Cano was released from the hospital after being treated for moderate injuries then booked into the Merced County Jail for suspicion of DUI, driving without a license, and other various charges. October 29 Merced Accident, Auto Center Drive and V Street

On October 29 Danny McGhee was injured in a 3 car accident at Auto Center Drive and V
Street in Merced. McGhee was reportedly driving westbound in a Honda Civic on West 15th Street when a Ford F350 traveling southbound on V Street hit him in the intersection. The force of the crash caused McGhee's car to crash into another Honda Civic that was stopped for a red light. McGhee was taken to the hospital for injuries and is expected to make a full recovery.
