Pedestrian Hit by Car in Downtown Visalia

January 6, 2012- A pedestrian was injured after a crash on Friday, in downtown Visalia, at about 1 PM.

A woman was walking across the street at the intersection of Locust Street and Main Street, when she was hit by an oncoming vehicle.

The pedestrian suffered minor injuries to her left wrist. The driver of the car was not injured.

Woman Crashes Car into Building in Visalia

January 4, 2012- A car crashed into a building in north Visalia, on Wednesday morning.

A woman, driving a white BMW, was driving into the parking lot of Soco's Beauty Salon, on First Avenue and Locust Street.

As she was parking her car, she overshot the curb and slammed into the business. It is reported that the business was closed at the time of the crash.

She was not injured in the accident. No word on how much damage was done to the salon.

December 9 Visalia pedestrian accident

On December 9 Cynthia Valero was hit by a car while crossing Acequia Avenue in Visalia. Reportedly she was walking outside of the crosswalk west of Locust Street when she was hit by a GMC Acadia driven by Pamela Taylor. Valero was taken to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno with major head trauma.
