San Luis Obispo Motorcycle Accident on Tank Farm Road

June 6, 2014- A Templeton motorcyclist was seriously hurt in a collision with a car, on Friday.  The accident occurred in San Luis Obispo, at about 3:40 PM.

The 29 year old biker was driving east on Tank Farm Road, while a sedan was traveling westbound.  The car, driven by a 90 year old woman, turned south to get on Long Street, right in front of the motorcycle, and the two vehicles collided.

The motorcyclist suffered major injuries and was taken to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center.  It is reported that he was in stable condition.

The sedan's driver was not injured in the crash.

San Luis Obispo DUI Multi-Vehicle Accident on Broad Street

May 19, 2014- A three vehicle collision, which was reportedly caused by a drunk driver, happened Monday evening, in San Luis Obispo.  The car accident took place at about 5:15 PM, on Broad Street.

The police reported that Derek Johnson was driving north on Broad Street, when he smashed into the car in front of him.  The impact of the collision caused that vehicle to run into a car that was stopped at a traffic light.

The driver in the third car sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital.

Derek Johnson was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol, and could be charged with felony DUI causing a collision and injuries.

Motorcycle Rider Hurt after Collision with SUV in San Luis Obispo

May 15, 2014- A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a collision with a Sport Utility Vehicle, on Thursday.  The accident happened in San Luis Obispo, at about 9:45 AM.

The 26 year old woman biker, was riding her motorcycle north on Sacramento Drive.  She entered the intersection at Capitolio Way, when an SUV, driven by a 47 year old man from Arroyo Grande was driving east on Capitolio Way.  The SUV drove into the intersection right in front of the motorcyclist and the vehicles collided.

The woman suffered major injuries and was taken to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The driver of the SUV was reported to not have been injured.

Los Osos Valley Road Rollover Crash in San Luis Obispo

February 27, 2014- Three vehicles were involved in a car crash near San Luis Obispo, California on Thursday evening.

The collision happened next to the south Highway 101 off-ramp at Calle Joaquin and Los Osos Valley Road.  One of the vehicles involved in the accident overturned and ended up on its side.

Two people received minor injuries in the crash.

February 21 pedestrian accident in San Luis Obispo

On February 21 Madeline Mezgar was hospitalized after being hit by a car in a pedestrian accident on California Boulevard in San Luis Obispo. Mezger was crossing California Boulevard from the railroad tracks when she stopped in the middle of the road. Mezger was wearing black clothing and the driver of the Nissan that hit her did not see her until it was too late to stop.  She was taken to Sierra Vista Regional Hospital with serious injuries. http://www.nelsonrozier.com/

December 19 Highway 101 fatal pedestrian accident

On December 19 Ismael Gamboa was killed when he was hit by a car while walking along Highway 101 in San Luis Obispo. He was hit by a BMW driven by George Patton of Fresno. Patton was driving southbound in the fast lane near Madonna Road when he hit Gamboa. Gamboa had been walking along the right southbound shoulder when he ran directly into traffic. After the accident, Patton was found to be drunk and was booked into th county jail on suspicion of driving under the influence. http://www.nelsonrozier.com/

December 6 Scooter accident in San Luis Obispo killed Clayt Casey

On December 6 Clayt Casey was killed when his scooter was hit by a pickup truck at Los Ranchos Road and Highway 227 in San Luis Obispo. Reportedly, Casey ran a red light on his electric scooter and then was hit by the pickup truck driven by Christopher King. King was traveling 55-60 mph. He swerved and hit his brakes, but could not avoid hitting Casey. Casey was not wearing a helmet and sustained serious head injuries. He was taken to French Hospital Medical Center where he then died.  Our hearts go out to the friends and family of Clayt Casey.
