Automobile Crash on Highway 99 near Fowler

Fresno, Visalia, Bakersfield Collision Attorney John L. Rozier has the following accident report; On Thursday, October 30, 2014, a car crash took place on Highway 99.  The automobile collision happened near Fowler, at about 2 AM.

A female driver of a car was traveling northbound on Highway 99, near Merced Street.  The vehicle sveered off the left of the highway.  The driver overcorrected, swerved right, and ended up crashing the car through a fence and into a building.

The woman sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.  A passenger and a baby in the car were not injured.

Authorities believe that the cause of the accident was a result of the driver falling asleep.

SUV Collision on Chestnut and Olive Avenues in Fresno

Visalia Senior Citizen Abuse Attorney John L. Rozier has the following collision report; On Wednesday, October 8, 2014, an SUV accident leads vehicle to crash into building.  The car crash took place in Fresno, at Olive and Chestnut avenues.

The accident occurred between a Sport Utility Vehicle and an automobile.  They collided at the intersection of Olive Avenue and Chestnut Avenue.  The impact of the collision sent the white car into the side of a nearby laundromat.

A 26 year old man, and a 30 year old woman, who were occupants in the SUV, sustained injuries and were taken to St. Agnes Hospital.  The 24 year old female driver of the car also was injured.  She was taken to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Car Accident in Kern County on Stockdale Highway, Bakersfield

September 17, 2014- An automobile collision occurred in Bakersfield, on Wednesday morning.  The Kern County car accident took place on Stockdale Highway.

The vehicle involved was in the parking lot of a local Mcdonald's on Stockdale Highway, when it hit a handicap sign.  The sign was knocked over, and smashed into a front window of the fast food restaurant.  The sign caused damage to the building.

No one was reported hurt in the incident.

SUV Crash in Fresno, Car Runs Into AAA Office

Visalia Nursing Home Lawyer John L. Rozier has the following accident report; on Monday, July 21, 2014, a vehicle collision leaves a AAA office with major damage, and several people injured.  The SUV accident took place in northwest Fresno, at about 12:30 PM.

The crash happened near Shaw Avenue and Forkner Avenue.  A 66 year old woman was in the front entrance parking lot of a AAA office, in her silver, Lexus Sport Utility Vehicle.

It is reported that the driver of the Lexus hit the gas instead of the brakes.  The vehicle ran up the over the parking block, through the front glass window and doors of the building, and into several desks and chairs.  The SUV finally stopped when it hit a pole in the middle of the office.

Seven people in the building were hurt, with injuries ranging from minor to moderate.  One woman suffered a broken leg.  The driver of the Lexus was also hurt, but was expected to be alright.

Car Accident Damages Social Security Building in Visalia

July 19, 2014- A vehicle accident leads to a ruptured gas line and damaged building, in Tulare County.  The car collision happened in Visalia, on Saturday, at about 11:15 PM.

A black, 2007 Honda Civic was reported to have been speeding with another vehicle, eastbound on Noble Avenue.  The automobile tried to make a turn into the Walmart parking lot.  Instead the Civic, driven by Juan Rodriguez, 22 years old, drove straight and struck a gas line and the Social Security Administration building on Noble Ave.

Rodriguez and one passenger were in the Honda, and neither were hurt in the crash.  Damages for the building were said to have been around $5,000.

Officers reported that speeding was determined to have caused the accident.

Vehicle Collision Kills Two People in Merced on Rambler Road

May 14, 2014- A car collided into a home and burst into flames, in Merced, on Wednesday.  The automobile collision happened at about 11 AM.

A 2012 Nissan Altima was driving north on Alexander Avenue, when it somehow left the roadway, hit several garbage cans, then went through the intersection with Rambler Road, and smashed into the side of a home.  The car sheared off a gas meter and hit the house's electrical panel, which emergency officials reported, started the fire.

There were two people in the Nissan, and both died in the crash.  There was no one in the house at the time of the accident.

Officers believe that the driver of the Altima experienced some sort of medical episode before the collision.

Vehicle Hits Building in Fresno near Bullard Avenue

February 28, 2012- A vehicle crashed into a building in Fresno, on Tuesday. The accident happened at about 3:30 AM.

A driver of a Jeep Cherokee lost control of his vehicle, near Bullard Avenue and Fresno Street.

The Jeep left the roadway and was pinned between a brick wall and an underground parking structure.

The driver was not injured in the crash.

Truck Slams into Home in Oildale

January 31, 2012- A truck crashed into a house on Tuesday morning, in Oildale, minutes from Bakersfield.

The driver of an SUV was diving eastbound on Woodrow Avenue, when she collided with a pickup truck. The impact of the accident, caused the truck to collide with a nearby home.

The Highway Patrol have reported that the pickup truck driver ran a stop sign.

No one was injured in the collision. The home sustained only minor damage.

Woman Crashes into Wall after Trying to Evade the Police

January 12, 2012- A car chase ends in a crash in Tulare, on Thursday, at 12:45 AM.

Stella Castro, was leaving in a Chevy Tahoe, onto Tulare Avenue. She was under suspicion of drunk driving, and an officer attempted to pull her over. But the Chevy sped off and continued eastbound on Tulare.

The SUV ran a stop sign, and later a traffic light at Tulare and West Street, while the police pursued the vehicle.

A few minutes later Castro crashed in the 100 block of Sycamore Avenue. The Chevy hit a brick wall.

Castro was arrested for drunken driving and evading a peace officer.

Stolen Car Runs into Building in Fresno

January 16, 2012- A stolen vehicle crashed into the side of a building, in Fresno, on Monday. The crash happened at about 1:00 AM.

The Fresno Police tried to pull over the stolen Honda, but the suspect refused to stop and lost control of the car. The vehicle drove into a building with a sign that read, "The Exit" painted on the wall, at Belmont Avenue and Calaveras Avenue.

The driver and another passenger attempted to run after the accident, but officers quickly arrested them.

Minivan Runs into Grocery Store in Visalia

January 8, 2012- Two elderly people were injured in an accident, in Visalia, Sunday afternoon, after hitting a building.

A minivan, driven by Joyce Warrick, 84, was in the Savemart parking lot on West Noble Avenue. She was reversing from a handicapped parking spot, released the brake and hit the gas pedal. The white van crashed into the west entrance of the grocery store.

Warrick and her husband, 91, suffered minor injuries in the crash, and were taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center.

Savemart's doors were damaged and are blocked off until they can be repaired.

Woman Crashes Car into Building in Visalia

January 4, 2012- A car crashed into a building in north Visalia, on Wednesday morning.

A woman, driving a white BMW, was driving into the parking lot of Soco's Beauty Salon, on First Avenue and Locust Street.

As she was parking her car, she overshot the curb and slammed into the business. It is reported that the business was closed at the time of the crash.

She was not injured in the accident. No word on how much damage was done to the salon.

Car Crashes into House in Fresno

November 30, 2011- A man driving in southwest Fresno crashed his car into a home, Wednesday morning, at about 11 AM.

The accident happened at Clara Avenue and Drummond Avenue.

The man was spinning the tires on his car in the middle of the street, when he lost control of the vehicle. The car plowed through the fence and into the house.

The resident of the house said he woke up to find the car in the next room.  The car hit a female dog, and one of her puppies. Both animals died in the crash.

The driver and another occupant in the vehicle ran away from the scene of the collision. No word on whether they were caught.

Visalia Business Hit By Out of Control Car

August 15, 2011- A local business in Visalia was hit by an out of control car on Monday. A driver ran her vehicle into the front of Clay Café, on Main Street at about 4:35 PM. The collision caused the windows of the business to shatter, and some damage to the brick facade. No one was hurt.

The driver of the car lost control when she accidentally pushed her gas pedal instead of the breaks. All the customers in the café had left 30 minutes before the accident happened. There was only one employee in the store at the time the incident occurred.
