Rollover Accident on Walnut Avenue and Ben Maddox in Visalia

Visalia Nursing Home Attorney John Rozier has the subsequent collision report; On Saturday, September 27, 2014, a rollover accident took place in Visalia, The Tulare County collision that involved two vehicles occurred at about 4:30 PM.

The car crash happened at the intersection of Ben Maddox Way and Walnut Avenue.  A pickup truck and one other vehicle were engaged in the incident.  The pickup overturned and ended up coming to rest on its wheels.

The truck driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, in Visalia for treatment.  The driver of the other car suffered moderate injuries and was also taken to the hospital.

Visalia Vehicle Crashes Into Car Wash on Walnut Avenue

March 17, 2014- A car accident, in Visalia, occurred when a vehicle drove into the side of a car wash.  The crash happened at about 9:45 AM, Monday morning.

The 60 year old driver lost control of his vehicle, and smashed into one of the stalls of the Speedy Car Wash, on Walnut Avenue and Central Street.  There was no one inside the stall at the time of the collision.

Officials report that the driver may have suffered from a medical condition, when the accident occurred.  He was taken to the hospital for evaluation, but was not hurt in the actual crash.

Head-on Accident on Walnut Avenue in Visalia

November 10, 2011- A head-on crash occurred in Visalia, Thursday at about 12:30 PM.

A black Honda Accord was going east on Walnut Avenue, when a silver Pontiac Grand Am was turning south into the Kohl’s shopping center at the intersection of Walnut and South Central Street. The two cars crashed head-on.



The driver of the Honda and a passenger in the Pontiac suffered minor injuries from the airbags deploying. They were taken to Kaweah Delta Medical for treatment.

Motorcyclist Killed Near Caruthers

September 15, 2011- A motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a car Thursday morning at about 5:15 AM, near Caruthers, 20 minutes from Fresno.

Eddie Means, of Madera, was riding his motorcycle through the intersection of Conejo Avenue and Walnut Avenue, when a car pulled out in front of him. Means was not able to stop in time and slammed into the side of the car.


Means died at the scene of the accident. The occupants of the other vehicle were not injured.

Collision at Akers Street and Walnut Ave in Visalia

September 7, 2011- Two car collision causes two people to be injured Wednesday morning in Visalia, at about 8:30 AM.

Reportedly Patricia Ware, was driving a Chrysler PT Cruiser south on Akers Street, when a Honda Odyssey, driven by Jose Miranda crashed into her, after he ran a red light while going westbound on Walnut Avenue.

Ware’s car rolled onto its side and came to a stop back on its tires at the southwest corner of the Akers/Walnut intersection. The bottom of her car hit the fire hydrant while it rolled on its side.

Both Ware and Miranda were injured from the accident and taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center.

Skateboarder Struck by Two Vehicles in Visalia

September 14, 2011- A skateboarder suffered injuries Wednesday night after he was hit by two vehicles in Visalia.

Nick Johnson, was skateboarding east on W. Walnut Avenue, at about 10:30 PM Wednesday. Johnson crossed S. Divisadero St., and was struck by a Ford truck that was turning south onto Divisadero. The truck was driven by Douglas Oneal, of Visalia.

As Johnson lay on the ground, a Ford Mustang, driven by Sharon Stokes, also of Visalia, hit him again.

Johnson received injuries to the head, face, and arms. He was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center to be treated for his injuries. It is reported that he is in stable condition.

May 23 Winton Accident

On May 23 Donna Marie Walls- Randall was killed in a wrongful death accident at Walnut Avenue and Cypress Avenue in Winton. Walls-Randall was turning left onto Cypress Road when Jose Luis Dominguez attempted to pass another vehicle in the opposite lane and hit her vehicle.  Dominguez is being charged with felony DUI and vehicular manslaughter. March 26 Visalia Accident at Demaree and Walnut


On March 25 there was an accident at the intersection of Demaree Street and Walnut Avenue in Visalia. The accident involved two cars. One man had to be pulled from his pickup. According to speculation from readers on visaliatimesdelta.com one man suffered broken bones and a lacerated spleen. March 9 wrongful death accident in Fresno on Jensen Avenue near Walnut Avenue

On the morning of March 9 two people were killed in a wrongful death accident on Jensen Avenue west of Walnut Avenue in Fresno. Reportedly the victims died in a head-on collision between a large SUV and a small car. No further details are available at this time.

January 22 Visalia accident at Linwood Street and Walnut Avenue in Visalia

On January 22 Colleen Brown was seriously injured in an accident at Linwood Street and WAlnut Avenue in Visalia. It has been reported that her vehicle was hit by a vehicle that ran a red light. The Visalia Times Delta has not reported any further details.
