Fatal Fresno County Truck Collision at South and Chestnut Avenues

An update to the car collision that took place on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, in Fresno County at about 6:00 AM.  The two victims that were killed in the automobile accident, which happened near Fowler, have been identified.

Domingo Cruz, 50 years old, was the driver of a white, Chevy Lumina, with passenger Rosalia Lopez, 45 years old.  The Chevrolet was traveling east on South Avenue, when at the intersection of Chestnut Avenue, the car ran the stop sign.

The Lumina drove into the path of a white, 2006 Ford F-350, driven by an Exeter man, 20 years old.

Cruz and Lopez were pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.  The pickup truck driver suffered minor injuries.

While our condolences go out to the friends and family of the victim, we recognize that no monetary sum can ease the pain and loss felt after a tragedy such as this. Automobile Crash on Highway 99 near Fowler

Fresno, Visalia, Bakersfield Collision Attorney John L. Rozier has the following accident report; On Thursday, October 30, 2014, a car crash took place on Highway 99.  The automobile collision happened near Fowler, at about 2 AM.

A female driver of a car was traveling northbound on Highway 99, near Merced Street.  The vehicle sveered off the left of the highway.  The driver overcorrected, swerved right, and ended up crashing the car through a fence and into a building.

The woman sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.  A passenger and a baby in the car were not injured.

Authorities believe that the cause of the accident was a result of the driver falling asleep.

Update: Fatality on Highway 99 in Fowler

October 11, 2011- An update to the collision on Highway 99 that occurred Tuesday, south of Fresno, which left one man dead.

The 28-year-old man from Bakersfield, who drove his 2005 Chevy Trailblazer into the back of a semi truck, has been identified as Steven Edwards. Edwards died at the scene of the accident.

The crash occurred when the big rig had stopped because of debris in the roadway on Hwy 99, in Fowler.

The driver of the semi truck was J. Carbelo, of West Palm Beach, Florida.
