December 22, 2011- A Sanger man died in a crash, east of Fresno, on Thursday at about 6:30 AM.
Sydney Gee, was driving north on Del Rey Avenue,in his Chevy Malibu. He stopped at the stop sign, at the intersection of Del Rey Ave. and Jensen Avenue.
When Gee pulled into the intersection, he was hit by a Jeep Wrangler, driven by Robert Gomes, of Fresno. Gomes was traveling east on Jensen at about 45 to 50 mph.
Gee was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Gomes received minor injuries.
